My best reaction ever. Attack On Titan s2e7 Uncut E.A. Reaction

This episode was made specifically for me.

I can't dispute that AOT is one of the best anime ever. It was the first in my list of anime ever since I started watching it, until I finished the second season of Vinland Saga. I recommend, after you finish one of these animes (aot or jujutsu kaisen), you take a look at vinland saga.

What's crazy is that it gets even better?!?

tha_hermit

for reasons that will become clear as the show progresses, reiner is my favorite character by far in AOT. the way he’s written is honestly incredible

Jamie

been waiting for this episode the whole series as a fellow mixed martial artist heheee can’t wait

Such a delight to see new people enjoy a piece of art I love so much. Seeing you nerd out about grappling was awesome the insight you provided was great! In interviews series author Isayama has said that Eren’s Titan’s character design was heavily influenced by Yushin Okami and the armored Titan was modeled after Brock Lesnar. When you compared Reiner to Lesnar a few episodes ago it definitely made me laugh

also, as long as you’re talking about japanese art that deals with the aftereffects of the nuclear bombs that were used at the end of WWII, an Akira reaction would be sick as hell

Step 1: what a treat that you gave us this episode when it wasn't even on schedule Step 2: knew you would enjoy this episode and your analysis of all the little details was really a delight. Don't watch any other reactors but I doubt any of them have content this entertaining. Keep it up Jon

Same, he's not talked about enough as the goat of aot. I think him and eren as characters perfectly represent what i love about aot so much in their own, paralleling ways

Best thing about aot is that I have watched it like 15 times and it gets better every time because every watch you discover something new you missed before

No way the second season wasn't even better than the first, The second season was more of a good advice than actual insane story, goals, action and characters.

Hajime Isayama, the author, is a huge MMA fan! There's alot of those details to apprecaite in the titan fights

Legend reaction this episode. So much insight on grappling provided along with the craziness of Titan fights. Give us more Jon, I literally can’t wait to continue re-watching this series with you

Ive watched a lot of AoT reactors, probably 10+ to this episode maybe more. You had the best reaction for this episode out of all them. Theres also a few videos on Youtube where mma guys are shown this episode no context and talk about the animation but thats a different thing all together as they have no investment in the show. I knew this episode would blow your mind and is part of why i subbed, especially knowing its right after S2E6 which is always one of the main ones. Did you notice that when Eren starts the arm bar rotation there is even a very brief shot of him initiating the move by twisting reiners thumb hard with his hands? Very cool detail. The author really did his homework.

Do you guys think that Jon would enjoy Demon Slayer?

Chris

phenomenal episode & reaction!

100% no I hope the hype train doesn’t lead him to this for the next anime. He won’t like it lol

Demon Slayer wouldn’t even be in the top animes if you take away the amazing animation

Eyal Goldberg

I don't think demon slayer is his style at all tbh

Crazy that Reiner is my favourite character, iykyk 🫣

Jason Arty

Fun fact, Iseyama is a huge MMA fan, so he was sure to be accurate with his titan BJJ. Demetrius “Mighty Mouse” Johnson interviewed him on the process of writing AOT a few years back. It was a wholesome collab being Demetrius is such a huge fan of anime (AOT specifically) and Iseyama is such a MMA fan. This was in season 4 territory so I wouldn’t recommend watching yet for potential spoilers, but it’s definitely worth a watch!

Walter Ayala

“You just got Jose Aldo’d” 💀

Dionne McCrary

Wow. What amazing commentary on the fighting!
