Attack On Titan S3 E2 Uncut Early Access Reaction

Holy hell the animation in this episode is insane. And now I have a million new things I need to figure out. Amazing.

Comments

Toby Young

they lean more into cgi mixture later on in the show, especially in season 4 with the swap to Mappa

Runi

S3 is the best when it comes to animation, studio WIT used cgi for the crazy camera work and redrew all the frames in 2d on top of everything to make it look crisp

Joab Taylor

some of the best animation in the show

Ryan Payne

Love this ep. The real start of a lot of the themes of morality, and as Armin says people losing lives just because they are part of another group. With that and the beginning of the royal family stuff, i think this is the turning point of AOT. Perfect for the nearly halfway point of the entire show. Only up from here

Miles Anderson

Something few catch on first watch is that the couple in the hot air balloon sannes mentioned killing were actually armin's parents who wanted to see the outside world. The "too smart teacher" and "ranch whore" are mentions to keep in mind as well.

Dont worry all your questions gonna be answered, this upcoming arc is really good, more political

I forgot how amazing this episode was

Yo JD, little advice, rewatch the part where nick explained the 3 situations where he had to take people out, try to remember these and you’ll figure out these 3 very nice details later on

Kal

That info card is a bit interesting. It's about anti-personnel odm gear. Designed to kill people instead of titans. Useless against titans even. There's subtext there.

Getting mad at Jon for missing some details is one thing. But fully spelling out these hints that the show is giving (that are meant to be subtle seeing as they gave them less than 10 seconds of screen time) might just be taking the fun out of learning those things for himself. The people making the show knew that it would've been a while between seasons, and made it so that these details could've been easily missed. Leading to someone possibly making those realizations later on. Not my place to say if this ruins Jon's viewing experience or not though, so I should probably just keep my mouth shut going forward LOL.

I know people have recommended them in the past, but it wouldn't be a bad idea to watch the OVA's around now. Some of them give great insight on Levi's backstory which is now coming into play.

Russell Gambardella

Such a great episode. Enjoyed the reaction and thoughts!

Mikail

full speed jon! this show is gold I do nothing but what your reactions during break 🤣

Alex Nava

It’s gonna get insane and the whole show is a incredibly well written masterpiece!

Miguel Munuera

I'm really looking forward to the JJK movie, do you think it'll drop this week?

Rick Turpentine

In case youre unaware the post credit scene in episode 12 is just an edited clip from later and not unique or bonus material. More of a teaser for the people that had to wait months between Season part 1 and 2. A spoiler if you ask me but many would argue otherwise

Keep on going dude your amazing your catching everything honestly impressed your reactions are awesome
