Is there any idea of when jjk will be back? Finishing cyberpunk first?

William Dorion

THIS SHOW IS SO FIRE The cinematography and the style is just top tier

About if there's any good anime where the main character is an adult - great question. I haven't thought of it that way but you're right, most protagonists are teenagers. Closest thing to an adult in terms of age that I can think of is Saitama from one punch man. But I also don't know a lot of deep cuts when it comes to anime, so there's probably more

This show was great, also can’t wait for that jjk movie!

I think the content has evolved from being aimed towards only teenagers but for some reason the teenage cast has been maintained throughout a lot of anime as a bit of a holdover of the peak of shonen. I think there has been an increase in demand for adult content anime which I think will include characters being adults. But for now most shows have a teenage cast. I tend to just think of them as being around my age (mid 20s) because I feel like thats more how they act than real teenagers lol

Some shows with adult MCs: Fate/Zero, Kara no Kyoukai, GATE, Vivy, Gintama, JoJo, Spy Family (Yor/Loid, not Anya).

Vinland saga is great for adult MC, specifically season 2

I love Vinland saga but don’t sell it to Jon like it’s got an adult MC when Thorfinn is literally a kid in season 1 and then in season 2 he’s 19 when he goes to the farm

But to be fair to you it has no horny teenage boy trope if that’s more of what you meant

Love VS but s1 will always be better imo, s2 just too slow for me, still good

if it wasn't for the movie it already would be back. The 1hr45 min is a bit of an undertaking but it will happen soon

just wanna echo that i think you would really love Vinland Saga if your gonna add another show after cyberpunk. a little slow in the beginning of s1 and the first bit of s2 compared to something like jjk/aot, but the 10/10 story and writing easily make up for it

Armando

Berserk, Monster, Black Lagoon, Cowboy Bebop, Samurai Champloo, Psycho-Pass those are just a few anime that have adult casts

vinland saga please!! also berserk was recently reanimated for the 25th anniversary and it looks phenomenal. both amazingly written stories as well.
