I was about to tweet you asking for AOT but I’ll take this all day 😁

man you‘re in for a crazy ride these next few episodes 😭

Renni .

LETS GOOOO

I wasn't sure if you wanted to keep going with the show, but man I am glad that you decided to keep going. Pausing and thinking is definitely some of the best parts of these reactions. Lets us see what you think of what you just saw, or lets you take in any new information.

Also note about the noises that kept playing in the back of Geto's mind: Those were the sounds of the cult from Episode 4 applauding the death of the little girl (plasma star vessel or whatever). That seemed to be where Geto's disgust with the non-sorcerers originated.

Back to Yuji and the gang!! I think you'll really like where the rest of the episodes from this point go

I for one really enjoyed the pace of this reaction and I hope the analytics eventually back it up as well haha. Above what it means for the content hopefully it enhanced your enjoyment of the plot

Renni .

great reaction!

Loved this reaction with a bit more pausing. Sometimes takes a while to process all the detail that gets chucked at you, I probs overlooked that as I'd read the manga first. Taking a more objective stance, it is a lot of information very quickly, especially if you go in blind. Happy for you to pause and chat for as long as you want going forward!

you're gonna hate the next episode but itll be peak after that 😂

12 episodes to catch up. This is about to be a wild ride

I'm glad you're giving this another shot and taking it all in! It took me a second watch to wrap my head around as well. Looking forward to your reaction to the Shibuya (current airing arc) of jjk. It's widely considered jjk's best arc and it's so hype things will definitely get wild after the first two-ish episodes. You'll also see more of what you're asking for in this arc as well!

Next episode is NOT your cup of tea. But the episodes after the next one up to where we are now and (just because I know) beyond are some of the most intense and entertaining parts of the series. I can’t wait for you to catch up to us on this show. 👍🙏

Great reaction as always. Feels like it needs to be said, don't lose your head if you are confused by the first 12 minutes or so of the next episode lmao. It's just a reintroduction of the characters after we've not seen them for a while. The way the first half of that episode feels is DEFINITELY not the overall vibe of the arc. At all.

Austin Wright

Also side note. I think taking your time with it is an excellent idea. I have a tendency to watch anime paying close attention twice, once for art and once for exposition, so I can’t imagine how difficult it’s been for you to try and grasp all of this at once

Juan

i love the direction of this episode. the way the shower and rain sounded like the applause from the previous episode that triggered geto

Miguel De Sousa Coelho

Great reaction! I really enjoy when you pause and soak it all in. Next episode like some people said above, it's really not your forte, but after that it will get rolling fast!

NOT A SPOILER (just more context): You saw where Gojo clenched his fist so hard that he drew blood after hearing what Geto did. That means he turned off his infinity so that he could harm himself. Also you see how messed up Nanami is after losing his comrade in the mission; in season 1 you can see how protective he is over Yuji and other students. Small details like this makes us multiple time watchers/readers like this show so much. Glad you’re enjoying it more Jon!

James

The shower scene is so powerful. The audio mixes the water falling with the clapping of the extremist religious group you see in the previous episodes which haunts Geto

What makes this so sad is how Satoru and Suguru are clearly in love. That explains why Suguru's crime and betrayal hurt Satoru so much, and why he couldn't kill or pursue Suguru. It's also why Satoru still trusted Suguru at his end, and why the only reason he could kill him this time was as a mercy to end his suffering. It's never stated openly, but all the hints are there, and it really does a lot to explain a lot of little things too.
