Toby Young

Wow. Just in time for my daily work procrastination. Fuck yes. Glad you’re here on this journey brother

hman70

So so grateful I found your channel when I did and could be here for this as you were releasing it. Diving in! (Btw the end credits song for this part 1 special ‘Under the Tree’ has an official music video that’s a good nostalgia trip through the whole show, could be quick quality content to watch before or after part 2 :) )

Joab Taylor

Siuuuu, just brightened up my Monday

Suave Player

Just when you thought this show couldn’t get Darker and more Brutal with the deaths of Ramzi and everyone in Liberio

Sam

The journey is almost over Jon, it's been a fun one!

Alicia Limon

Goddamn it I’m sobbing all over again

Suave Player

RIP Hange, my girl really put that work in that ODM scene before she died, definitely one of the deaths that hit me the hardest when it comes to this show 😭

joe

nah eren is not going with his mother he going straight to hell lmaoo

Uzi Jacobson

bird symbolism bird symbolism bird symbolism bird symbolism bird symbolism bird symbolism

Jonathan van Rooij

Finally, we are at the end. What a journey. Bittersweet thats it gonna end tomorrow.

Suave Player

If that last scene of this episode doesn’t get you hyped? Idk what does, last episode tomorrow, let’s go! To Be Continued on this Masterpiece Show… one last time 🥹🥲

i_am_jam

It's probably too late to mention prior to you watching the last special, but if you do see this in time please make sure to watch the credits and not just skip through to the end credits - i'm not saying this just so you hear the ED, you will understand when you watch.

Oluwaseyi

I first saw your videos on yt from your reactions on Kendrick Lamar years ago. Try listening to some of the AOT ost. There are videos of live performance music with AOT music its perfect and you might like them.

Leon

You should do a rewatch of the first like 2-3 episodes of Season 1 once you finish just to see how insane some of the foreshadowing is (and record your reaction :D); the rewatch of this show is basically like watching an entirely different show, it's amazing.

ryanemmerson

idc these last two episodes make me cry every time. because they have emotional moments yes, but also because they are just so fucking good. it’s so rewarding are rare following a show for so long and they do everything justice

ryanemmerson

“there’s playboi carti” im fucking done Jon 😂😂😭

just aaron

Gonna need your reaction to The Rumbling Opening and Ending song of the special

Can you believe we had to wait SIX MONTHS to see how this played out? The wait was unbearable. We have finally arrived at this view.

Joab Taylor

btw Jon they're not saying Annie should eat a bit of Falco, they're saying Falco is the jaw titan but he has a bit of Zeke in him too as he was transformed using the beast titans spinal fluid

Joab Taylor

RIP Hange Zoe the goat, feel sorry for people who read the manga and didnt get to experience that scene with the music they used

Dhaval Kale

Kinda glad the anime cut the panel of the kids face being mashed in - almost made me lose my lunch when i read it

zbyndagram

Im all in for a rewatch on this channel as well lmao

Dane Fisette

NGL I was really confused with the next episode, I had to study and look up an explanation for some things after and rewatch it. One thing I would love answered is somebody knows, how can Mikasa go to the Paths if she is an Ackerman?

R.i.p to the engineers

ackermans are also eldians, theyre one of the few special families of eldia, the royal family are one, the ackermans are another, and there are more. these families cannot have their memories altered by the royal thats why they tend to serve as the right hands to the founder. i think in the kenny episode this was explained a bit but also in the episodes where they ousted the fake king.

Dhaval Kale

It did - the anime shows his face begin to decompress. The manga shows it completely flattened after the Titans have left. Reread the chapter. It's a level of brutality far above any other panel.

Ackermans are still Eldians but with unique genetic traits. 1. They have the Ackermann awakening or instinct granting them enhanced physical abilities and strong survival instinct. 2. They are immune to the founding Titan’s powers to a certain extent (brainwashing) due to their unique genetic makeup I’m not sure whether they were chosen as the king’s servants because they had these powers or the king gave them these powers because they served him, maybe someone can tell me? (Probably the first)

Hey john, since its not a spoiler anymore. Back in season 3️⃣ if you pause the episode when Historia is at the Ceremony handing the medals 🥇 to the scouts, there is a frame that resembles the Titan Eren is in now when she is about to hand eren his medal. Cool little foreshadowing that i would love to bring to your attention.

Anonymous

You may have watched it already but definitely don't skip the credits or any of the music stuff for the final episode.

Owen

Loved re watching this whole show through your reactions mate. It genuinely gets better on every watch as you take in more layers impossible to catch all at once on first watch. The foreshadowing is mind boggling and the next episode is unreal I can’t wait for your finished review

>>129505974

My bad, i thought you were referring to the panel of ramzi being squished, completely forgot about the panel of his bro

Anonymous
>>129504945

it honestly didn't feel half as impactful when i first read that chapter, the anime really made it way better. i think there were some missing pages when it first came out though, if i remember correctly

Chandler Smith

it's been an amazing ride jon, thanks again

Miles Anderson

I hope to see you react to the rest of the opening music. Sim's "the rumbling" is an absolute banger and I'm sure you'll agree if you hear the full official song

Jer emy

RIP King Floch

Dwob

What a journeyyyyy!! Can't for you to see the end ~

Ocean

"Well do something don't just stand there watching" .......what do you expect them to do in that situation.....

Rich

DM Punk
>>129514610

If I remember correctly, Mikasa's dad was eldian and her mum an Azumabito

Shei

Hahaha maybe he’s just mentally exhausted and torn like everyone after that “The End” screen shows

Anonymous

Cant believe we’re being edged on the last episode

Kieran Lamb

cant wait for the last episode, hoping he drops it today!

Katame

The alcohol is wearing off drop it now

Ocean
>>129565031

yeah the survey corps just became aerospace engineers offscreen, makes perfect sense

Elliott Tomkings

The amount of genuine terror and fear that is created in the intro of this episode is truly so impressive, it makes you feel afraid and worrisome in REAL LIFE somehow

stevetar

The gap between this episode and the last felt like forever. There were parts in this ep I completely forgot when I watched the last episode like when Erin showed how he trampled everyone to Armin

Hadiyah Mohamed
>>129613355

fr, something about the way eren's founding is shot alongside the rumbling felt like a candid camera. i literally felt like i was standing there

Aiscrim

Isayama start the story with the ending, that's why the future is already decided.

CJ

“The fucking baconing” 😭😭😭

R

that first 10 or so minutes is absolutely insane

Cesar Ortiz

“Bro was simping for a rock for four years” LMAOOO

Baron Von Aarth

I need to hire the guy that made the castle's door. DIY Master. End of the world, the march of the Bacon Men, and that door remains standing. Great reaction - watching you go through this series as been awesome, and I've been enjoying Vinland too. You "Get it"
