Unrelated - Hey Jon, I watched your reaction of the rewatch of the first episode of AoT, and it seems like you are confused on a bunch of core points. It's very normal to miss things on the first watch. Just want to make sure you got every main idea & point before your video essay. The comments explained most of them and I hope you read them. The most important I remember are WHEN and HOW Eren got future memories and how Mikasa WAS NOT bound to protect Eren via some innate force (the point of their love for each other). The comments on the last reaction and the finale should explain it in more detail as I don't want to write an essay about AoT on Vinland posts! Loving your reactions to Vinland Saga so far!

This is what I’ve been waiting for.. this is what hooked me on the show

Christian Golub

JD is not ready, Makoto Yukimura is an absolute genius, this shows with every episode more and more

Early recommendation based off what Jon said: Blue Eye Samurai.

Michael

The song at the end gets me everytime 😂😂😂

joe

Deathnote is not at all about being a warrior but I think you'd enjoy it from what you said you liked about this show

Am

The beginning of GOATfinns epic journey.

Patrik Žauhar

You are about to witness one of the greatest character journeys in anime history

Blue eye samurai is a great animated show about fighting!

Chandler Smith

Suave Player

Idk how Thors is standing while he got shot by a bunch of arrows

Max Power

Think you'd love the Fate series purely for the fights and lore

Couldn’t wait to see your reaction to this one 🙏💔

i will once again say that i think banana fish would be an awesome reaction for you, it’s a mafia/mystery anime so most of the fights are just them shooting each other but it’s been so interesting so far (still not done with it myself) !!

Jaeboleann

We need arcane as the second show!!

Yuji Glazer

Vinland starts with a bit of a slow burn but the payoff is incredibly worth it. One day you’re casually enjoying it, the next you’re invested. The prologue of the prologue is complete! I’m glad you’re enjoying it so far.

Alexandru Macovei

Hey man, you re one of the few that i subscribed to the patron and rn im considering going for a second month . I really enjoy your deep dive into anime and the knowledge you bring with it. I wholeheartedly recommend Berserk 1997 anime, i think you would find extremely interesting.

At around 12:30 you mention recommending more shows. This is my chance to put it out there one more time! Cowboy bebop !!!

Elliott Tomkings

The characters in this show become so complex, I am excited for you to see where Thorffin, Askelaad, Bjorn, and everyone else end up
