As some of you know, Jaimie does marketing for Rooster Teeth and they recently had their 8th annual RTX expo here in Austin, TX. Because we make rad stuff, they asked us to make a huge sign for their main booth at the show and we happily obliged! This was a really fun and challenging build due to a much shorter timeline than we're used to and some creative challenges to solve.

Would love to hear your feedback, my dudes.

We used the X-Carve cnc machine, some plywood, and a lot of creativity and hard work to make a huge RTX logo in a little over a week. Even with the help of the cnc, it was a tight timeline but we got it finished and we love the way it turned out! The folks at Rooster Teeth were super happy and thousands of fans got to take pictures with it at RTX. We started by splitting the logo into different parts that would fit on the X-Carve and arranging them strategically to use as little material as possible. Then we used EASEL to setup our cuts and then attached the parts into giant letters. Everything got installed onto a plywood base and we even built an interchangeable sign for the bottom so the show can be used at RTX Austin, RTX London, and RTX Sydney! Did you like the video?
