The process breakdown for these two pieces are up! I've learnt quite a few things by attempting these intentionally in "background-less" mode, so I hope you find them helpful as well (if you're going for something similar) :)

As always, questions are very welcome about any specific part of the piece/process! Thank you so much for the support and please look forward to an update regarding the ongoing event coming soon! ♥

I learned about you a couple of months ago when I stumbled across your artbook in a bookstore. I recently had some spare money and decided to subscribe to your Patreon. I like your style and am interested in how you work. The subscription has been completely worth it; you have so many interesting tutorials, and process recordings are also great! I'm glad you continue to post content and quite often. I've been watching your videos for several days now and even rewatching the tutorials on character drawing, tone, and lighting. It's fascinating to follow your process and approach!

Thank you, I'm so glad to hear that! It has always been my mission to make sure everyone that joins find as much bang for their buck as humanly possible so it remains accessible :) I hope you'll enjoy your stay!

I can zoom in to your paintings and see the brush strokes instead of pixely artifacts. Is your canvas a certain size and is your resolution high in the psd file? Doesnt that make the painting process laggy?

I also have to ask, regarding the painting on the right, her left shoe (screenside right), how did you get that yellowy atmospheric look to it? Because it doesnt look like you just brushed lightly over the shoe with a yellow brush.

The canvas size is about 4000+ on the short side minimally~ There isn't any lag painting for me at this size, although I try to keep the layer count from ballooning, which I'm certain helps.

Soft light layer is great for adding a bit of lighting color into areas in combination with an airbrush/soft brush. Rather than slapping a flat yellow on, it influences different existing colors contextually. E.g. grey becomes yellow, but black becomes dark brown.

was there any particular reason to not frame the whole body on the 2nd one?

I find cutting off just a little bit from the edges can help bring the subject a little "closer" to the viewer, on top of managing the drawn perspective of course

I stan the short silver hair muscle gal! the long haired one is intimidating, I can't date her 😁 btw, are the remaining processes of ep 54 still due? the commute set.

Thank you, and you're right!! I've prepared the process breakdown but haven't uploaded it, it will be up soon!
