Drawing a more casual costume design for a character (name TBC)! It's refreshing and quite fun to try some colors and lighting setup that I haven't used a while. The red stuff is definitely ketchup. As with last month, I will be going through the process of creating this in the walkthrough video later this month. Thank you as always for your support!

Amazing as always. That detail on her shoes is top-notch.

I love how simple city in the background looks. It's made of such simple strokes but it gets the point across in such a cool way in my opinion. I also like the fact that despite the lights looking so simple they still manage to show the perspective of the city showing how high the character is. Just cool all around. :)

I love the casual look and the composition. I only saw the blood and the body on the second look and thought eww. haha. i wouldnt want to be the crime scene cleanup person.

Woahh so cool! I like how relatively bright this image is compared to your last pieces, it's kind of refreshing. It must've been hard making something like this after so long with dark images! But if it was hard, we can't tell haha it looks like it didn't require any effort. So it's a wonderful piece!

I know the character is the centerpiece here, but I can't take my eyes off of the gorgeous background details. The way you represented the nighttime city lights obscured by the dirty window. The perspective of the room and city buildings. The props like post-it notes and fast food stuck in the side. It really creates a feeling of fullness, fleshed-out and real. Not to mention the way the light accents the handrail, and the camera POV that shows just a little more of one wall than the other, giving movement to the eye... the whole concept feels really well planned and executed. Fantastic work.

I love your casual outfits experiment! It gives a little twist to what you usually do and it's so nice to see! Big fan of this piece, for its background as well 🥰

He's so clumsy. A chance she's here to help him stand up. 😄

Glad you enjoy the process videos!

It's partially because I'm lazy to paint it in detail as well :)

No worries, it's just ketchup

It's a bit easier in some ways and harder in others! When the scene is overall bright, I don't have to worry too much about sufficiently lighting areas/ planning out light sources to make sure the character is visible enough - but of course, more things also need to be drawn in higher fidelity since they are all in the "spotlight".

Thank you very much! I do enjoy painting all these supporting details a lot as well, it's quite fun to see the scene assembled step by step as you add more details.

Thank you, it was fun to switch it up as well!
