UPDATE: Thank you for your responses! I will try my best to answer them in the tutorial video

---It's coming to the end of the month again and the process breakdown and tutorial will be up in the next couple of days!

The topic for this month is "Environments - Creating Immersion" - I have a outline and demo prepared, but I would love to hear if anyone has specific questions regarding the topic.

If you would like, feel free to drop them in the comments and I will try to tackle them in the video itself.

Thank you very much as always for your support!

Question: What exactly makes an environment “interesting” for viewers to look at in your opinion? Hope it’s doesn’t sound too ambiguous but just a question I’ve been thinking about.

Hi guweiz! Tips/process in drawing organic subjects, like trees/leaves or rocks. Thanks!

I have a question and it comes from seeing just how good you are at doing it: How do you decide where to place things in an environment? When I look at your art I often see you place on object in just the right spot in the composition. It makes sense to put something that belongs in the scene, but deciding where to place it in the composition has always been a struggle for me. Understanding your thought process behind how you make such amazing decisions would be wonderful. Thank you for the tutorial!

any tips on how to not feel overwhelmed when drawing environments? i always feel like there's so much to manage and I end up making it look bad

When creating environments, do you usually think of an environment and then find references for it, or do you scroll through references online to get an idea of what environment to create

Hi! I am curious if the rules about making a believable realistic environment apply to making more of a dreamy one and what can we bend or has to stay the same. Thanks!!

I'd be interested in any time saving tricks you've got! I often feel too overwhelmed to paint as many details as I'd like to make an environment realistic...

Hi!! and thanks for your awesome tutorials... they're awesome :3 i have a few question: 1- How do you decide how and when to fill the spaces with props or leave open spaces? 2- What elements do you consciously use to give personality to the environments? (some are more contemplative, crude, elegant, etc) 3- Any tips on making the environment match in drawing/painting style with the characters? I generally feel that when I draw BGs they feel kind of disconnected to the character

I'm actually dying to know and interested in how you actually do up those tall buildings and make them look fantastic! All the time when I try to draw like skyline, tall buildings, they just look so fake and unreal.

I'm craving for an art time-lapse (like a recoded process and not just going through layers), doesn't even have to be with commentary
