Feel free to let me know below what kind of things you are looking forward to seeing in the artbook - For example, more story based writing, more art in general, behinds the scene time management, anything at all.Full disclaimer that I do have a fleshed out plan in mind for the book myself, but I would definitely love to hear your inputs on it and try to fit in what I can!

Your last art book was great already and I’m sure that the plan you laid out for this one is great too. But since you mentioned story writing maybe you could explain a little about the world your characters exist in and how you came up with the scenarios. I feel like that’s something I’ve always wondered about :D

Vlaku

How you approached studying fundementals such as value, composition, color/lighting. I'm currently going back to square one and do anatomy/gesture studies, but I'm not too sure how to go about values and so on.

Zelo

The way you frame your drawings and the composition seems to have a lot of inspiration from movies so I'd love to see something about that

Raios

I'm interested in how you broke into the industry/freelancing and if you any advice. Would be cool to know how to deal with professional/corporate clients and setting up your own ToS

Yuri

Youre struggles as an artist and if they have changed over time

Acaii

As someone who really wants to do art full time, it’d be helpful to see how you managed to build your art career. It’d be great if you could talk about how to find work, income streams for artist, developing personal brand etc.

I agree with jabamizu. Your last art book is absolutely wonderful. I also would love to hear about the world your characters live in. I can’t wait to add your new book to my collection. ☺️

Another vote for story elements. I would be interested in knowing how you approach character development and environmental applications to your scenes.

I loved the first book, but one of the things that really stood up to me was the background the characters where in, that alone gave it a full finish of the environment and story it conveyed. I would’ve liked to know more how the idea of the background starts and how it changed the piece mood entirely. It like complements very well, adding the lighting and the difference between the characters and where they are. Also would been nice to know about the story that it has since a lot of your work have story in it, a visual story. It looks so captivating!

I adore your first book!!! I think I would like to hear more about how you developed your art style, and building your art career!

Puredraws

Definitely more story based! That would be really interesting

sigmaleaf

Your first book was and still solid! And we would like to know more about you! This is more of a "behind the scene" suggestion though... Like, what fuels you? (your favorite food, snacks, or drink) We thought it might be sweet if you'd make an artwork of that particular catalyst as a token of appreciation. :P Thank you for your hard work!

Hiraizon_

would love to hear about the early struggles like.. any feeling of self-doubt and how u conquered it, advice for new artists on staying motivated or like some have suggested, your experiences with clients and/or commercial work

Pocky

I think everyone would really love to see more of how you started off and more about you in general!

guweiz

Thank you for the suggestion, I would definitely want to cover that in some way!

guweiz

That's a good question, definitely will be writing about that.

guweiz

Thank you! I want to try add a bit more of a narrative style to parts of the book, so this could be a great chance.

guweiz

Thank you for the suggestion

guweiz

Thank you very much, those are all very good things to include!

guweiz

Thank you, I will definitely try to cover that as much as I can!

guweiz

It's something I want to do as well, at least for parts of the gallery chapters!

guweiz

Thank you! I'll see if I can scrounge up anything - time is not quite on my side recently, so it may end up just being more text :p

guweiz

Thank you for the suggestions, they are both great!

guweiz

Thank you for the suggestion!

Hi! I'm not sure if I'm too late but I would love to see a little more about your thought process and perhaps some sketchbook drawings if you're comfortable with that! I got your first artbook a little while ago and I haven't got time to finish reading it but I loved the parts where you talked about your feelings and thoughts rather than the technical parts. Thank you and I'm looking forward to the second artbook!

I'm a bit late for suggestions but I'll say a few words anyway: your "Remaster" of some images is a nice idea that allows us to see the evolution of your work, quite remarkable. But an exercise that would be quite interesting for you (and for us) would be to see you rework an image not in order to improve it (even if it will surely be the case) but in order to modify the environment, to give it another facet (a little bit like a B-Side on a tape haha!). Example: Let's take my favorite illustration "Train Stop" (visible on Instagram and Artstation) and keep the character's pose but change his clothes and the context (for example a park with beautiful trees). It's an exercise in getting out of your world a bit - which can sometimes feel good! - and try out other things - like trees haha! Well, to be honest my example is a bit of a wish as well because it's nice to dream, but you get the idea I think. This could, in your art book, show that you are capable of doing something very different and/or being able to rework an image for a purpose other than improving it. And as many here like tutorials, it could be a good video subject to show how to rework an image in such a radical way. Here it is! Have a nice day !

This might be too late for something to suggest on the 2nd art book since it's already fleshed out but would definitely love to see this for your 3rd 😉 An art book with more story based sounds wonderful! Basically a concept art of your original characters and the universe/city they are in. I could imagine aesthetic backgrounds, simple yet eye catching character designs, dynamic perspectives, and many more!
