The adventure continues! I'm having more fun with this format of presentation as well, focusing on some more "big moments" and returning to a more illustration based focus for this character.I hope you like it as well! As always, feel free to let me know what you think :)

The first thing I thought was "Oh! A 'bat' signal!" 😅 Very nice illustration. The little golden motif on her sleeves really helps keeping her in the same world as the jade lady in stilettos.

The symbols could very well be related :) I definitely wanted to alter the usual witch "costume" a little bit to fit the world a bit more, so I'm glad you like it!

Interesting how this ties into the subway piece. The city seems alive yet the subway was haunted, or is she herself haunted? Love how you create such evocative pieces without having to be blatant or add text. So good!

It's so cool how you push your values to the max without compromising on the colors of the character or scene, im so intimidated by making my art nearly black because I feel like I wouldn't control the hues like I want, but yours are so perfect

Guweiz, how do you control your dark values so well? You control hue and saturation in the dark values so accurately as well! Do you paint in a dark room? Or is your screen's brightness really bright? I squint and squint at dark values and they all blend together into a soup, just wanted to know how you do it!
