I personally don't mind the new Kit Packs, especially because they give me more to play with :D

I purchased the Kitchen and Dust ones so if anyone has any requests for separating or add-on items I'll add them to my objects to-do list.

The only thing I plan on doing right now is making those tins and that basket into storage items. What a GREAT place to store your ingredients!!!

If you can turn the casserole dish into a cooking item, that would be great.

I love the dust kit! I only wish there were more types of vacuums to choose from, like shop vacs and maybe even some carpet shampooer styled ones? I also think it would have been really cool if they had included brooms. And hand dusters to expand the dusting possibilities a little bit. But I do love this pack so much! I don’t recall ever having anything that added vacuums before so I’m really happy with this kit!

I second the want for brooms and hand dusters.

Phenyxhawker

Since I do a lot of historical playthroughs, I am thirding brooms and hand dusters

Sira

Yes! These are great ideas

Morgan McGlothan

I second this! Initially I thought they’d give us that option in the pack (wishful thinking) but being able to make casseroles in the sims would be so incredible !

Yes for brooms and hand dusters, also I would love to see some upper cabinet variation for the country kitchen.

I'd love different wooden colors for the new counters. Dark mahogany, light pine, etc.

RubyWoolf

I would love an off-the-grid broom, hand duster like a feather duster or rag, etc. My island off-the-grid doesn't look right with vacuums.

BrazenLotus

Love this idea! We'll have to brainstorm some recipes...

BrazenLotus

Can you tell me a little more about what you're thinking for the cabinets?

BrazenLotus

Wow, everyone really wants some brooms and dusters! Let me see what I can do. The easiest option would be to just change out the vacuums for broom and duster meshes but it might look silly. I tend to stay away from making new animations because they take too long BUT if you all know of an animation that is similar to a broom sweep or duster let me know. Worst case scenario we can use the animation that's already there and I can make it a push broom so it doesn't look off. Some great ideas!!!

For middle cabinets it would be nice to have some with empty shelves you could fill up with clutter and other option could be with closed doors with glass. I would like to see a variation of the dish drying rack as a bigger cabinet with addition to plates could have mugs or other dishes. Something like that. :)

I like the broom idea, and weed whacker that does not look like a vacuum. Or an old school lawn mower.

2026-09-06 05:00 Could you turn the dust bunnies into soot sprites? There's an insect in Outdoor Retreat that resembles the soot sprites in Spirited Away and Totoro

Hi, the mopping animation might work for a broom. It's a bit low, though..

BrazenLotus

That's a really cute idea! I'll look at it and see if it can be done :)
