So basically, throw any and all ideas you may have revolving around the new pack in the comments below!!! 😁

Honestly I'm just so stoked for the whole thing. I want to be able to make sandwiches with eggs and bread from my own farm! Can strawberries! Pickle beets! Make yogurt! It's all just so neat. I feel like this is going to be right in your wheelhouse too, so I'm extra excited to see what you create!

Valentin

Well, there is something that could be nice (sorry I posted it earlier in another post, kind of out of topic) : it's having the cottage tea set functional! It's such a nice item, perfect for a British inspired world, and since tea is one of the harvestables you have, that would be so nice to have tea that Sims can grow themselves.

BrazenLotus

No worries! I don't want to say too much and jinx it, but I'm working on a new functioning teapot right now 😉

BrazenLotus

Yogurt is a good idea! Let me marinate on that and think about how I'd like to implement it.

queenofdeath

I may have just made an inhuman sound of excitement. Again. At work.

Ree Barkla

Being able to shear a sheep and knit with the wool would be wonderful, spinning the llama wool/sheep wool would be great too. so would be having drying racks for fruit vegetables and fish etc. Milkable goats as well as cows. Making goats cheese etc. Flavoured cheeses, butters, and yogurts. My head is exploding with the possiblities of what you might do with this pack.

BrazenLotus

All great ideas! I like the idea of spinning wool into yarn balls or something. I'm still working on the drying racks, I'm just torn between some functionality pieces I need to work out. I'm going to definitely check out the yogurts thing, maybe I can actually work it in with cheeses....🤔

Valentin

Oh and I forgot! There is a console with a jam/honey can, dried herbs and some logs. I don't know what use it could have, but it could be nice to have some gameplay tied to it ^^

BrazenLotus

I saw that, it's super cute! I'll keep that in mind - I think you're right it would be a nice workstation for something.

Valentin

Yeah! That's a missed opportunity like for eco Lifestyle they make a really cute console, and it's only an item without gameplay, that's too bad, those objects are so well done 😍

Quasiattractor

I wish they'd added pigs and piglets, but I know that pigs are really only farmed for meat. I am soo excited about chickens with eggs to gather, wool that is useful for knitting and needlepoint, and canning! So many cool things. Cows that can be milked, new fishing, wild animals, wow, so many things. I've never been so excited about any Sims expansion. Useable tea set gets my vote for sure.

Latesha Coleman

@quasiattractor pig are good for truffle as well as meet. :) they really should have add pigs and horses but no biggie i guess. Im sure whatever you add BrazenLotus will be an even better addition to what EA gives us <3

Ree Barkla

They could have done what the farm frenzy games do the pigs drop packets of bacon rather than have to be killed. I know its not a real solution but child friendly at least.

Quasiattractor

That would be an excellent solution, I agree. Pigs are quintessential to cottage farming, I believe. Distinctive personalities too. Maybe some day.

Quasiattractor

I agree. I'm looking forward to what Brazenlotus has in store for us!

Valentin

There is the watermill in the debug too 👀. It could be nice if it could generate power like solar panels etc. For off the grid challenge in henford on Bagley it would be perfect

Valentin

Sorry for the several posts, there is so much stuff that could be used in that expansion 👀😱

BrazenLotus

Don't be sorry, that's exactly what this post is for! 😉

Tyler Watkins

How about an option to sent chicken, rabbit or cow to the butcher for meat. Also compositing/ fertilizer for the garden

BrazenLotus

I think those options are actually already included in the pack, so exciting!

idk if you often do recolors, i’m a new patron, but recoloring the main bed that came with the pack as well as the kitchen counters/cabinets would be so cute! that and/or separating the frame of the bed from the mattresses. idk about everyone else but i liked the frame but i didn’t think the mattresses went well with it!

Abby

I'd love some cottage living terrain paints! We don't have anything that matches henford-on-bagley's dirt. I'd also love it if the world edit items (fences, etc) were made available to use. Some stone foundations matching the CL stone walls would also be great!

BrazenLotus

Terrain paints are a good idea! I don't do world items anymore since EA has made them accessible with cheats :)

yellowstar128

Am I the only one that REALLY misses the Sims 3 Harvester at this point?
