We need some recipes for our Afternoon Tea set and although I have a few ideas I'd love to hear what recipes you want to see! Keep in mind that a traditional afternoon tea (from what I've read 😊) consists of tea with savory bite-sized snacks, scones, and sweets.

We need:

Teas - some traditional British and Irish type teas

Savory Snacks - I'd like to have some Tea Sandwich recipes for sure, but I'm open to other ideas as well!

Scones - I know we have a few in game but it's not enough!

Sweets - cute little bite-sized sweets like tarts

So let me know what ideas you have in the comments below!

I did a tea night for a girls night with my friends. We did mini BLTs, cucumber dill sandwiches, mini egg salad. I think maybe a smoked salmon sandwich would great too.

Scones for sure! And cucumber sandwhiches?

One of the most unusual but delicious afternoon tea cakes I have ever had, was a Pandan Chiffon Cake in Singapore. Classic but exotic at the same time. Apart from that, macarons are always popular, as well as eclairs, shortbread, madeleines, crumpets. As an Australian, I think I am obliged to suggest lamingtons or mini pavlovas as well.

Oh mini lemon tarts or mini chocolate fruit tarts I love them from la madeleines

I would like some savory items, such as miniature sandwiches, and filled pastries.

To add on with Tiffany Perry, Lemon Bars would be awesome or Nanaimo Bars!

Thank you all for the great ideas! I can't wait to start putting some of these together. 😁

I don't know if this discussion closed or not but may I add something? I have been subscribed to English tea club mailing for years so it reminded me that we also could add some cookie recipes to this Afternoon tea set. For example: pumpkin-ginger cookies, cinnamon biscuits, nut biscuits and spice cookies. Actually I have tons of ideas but I think you chose a lot from previous comments so just it. :)

If you have more ideas feel free to comment, I still may be able to fit something in :)

Ah ok then:) So I would add Yorkshire tea loaf, Brownie, Curd mousse, Lemon curd, Queen Victoria's biscuit, Banoffee pie, Eton mess desert, Apple crumble with cranberry and nuts, Autumn pear pie. I don't know if pies suit this project but these are for tea time too. Glad if I could help :)
