A patron brought up that it would be nice to have specific buffs for the teas in the upcoming 'Afternoon Tea' project I'm working on. It takes me a REALLY long time to come up with buffs and buff descriptions so I generally leave them out but if you all have some suggestions I can try to add them. Know that I may tweak them if I use them but I'll do my best to keep them original. If there are multiple suggestions per recipe then I'll roll some dice to determine which one I use.

Teas I'm making that could use a custom buff:

Chamomile

English Breakfast

Irish Breakfast

Earl Grey

Lavender Earl Grey

Rose Congou

If you have some ideas for these teas then leave a buff name and short description of the buff in the comments below. If you don't want to post publicly feel free to message me here on Patreon.

Those who help will get a credit on the download page but if you don't want a credit just send me a message and let me know.

For English Breakfast there can be a "Full Bodied" buff that talks about how good a tea with a splash of milk and sugar or with a slice of lemon is.

Since Lanvender is associated with peace and calm maybe "Peaceful" "It´s a special taste but how nice to feel yourself at peace." Rose is not only associated with sensuality and love but also lifting you up when feeling sad, letting go of anger, bringing joy so maybe "Beautiful Life/Joyful moment" and "A wonderful smell ... one of those moments that make you appreciate the beauty of life/ appreciate those special moments"

Chamomile is not only antispetic (thereful helpful with colds) but also used against stress and fear-induced tension, against nervosity - "Calming down/Letting go" - "Sometimes all you need are those sips of a wonderul chamomile tea to find your bearings again" "Sometimes all you need are some moments with a nice cup of chamomile tea to face life agian"

Earl Grey as a black tea has similar effects like coffee (tein can work similar to coffein) - so "Ready for the day" /"Feeling alert/fully awake"- "Let´s start with the day. X feels ready to face all challenges after that wonderful cup of Earl Grey." Or since it´s Afternoon "That Cup of tea was a nice boost of energy to carry through the rest of the day."

As I understand Irish Breakfast ist stronger than English Breakfast. English Breakfast (like I read) was a tea for upper class with a mix of 3 or 4 different China blends. Irish Tea couldn´t afford that so is less blendy and more intense. Why not make a play with that? Irish Breakfast Description "Confident/Self-Assured/Satisfied" - "No need for dandy brands. There is nothing better than a strong, tasteful simple tea"

This is probably going off-topic a bit but since we are on the subject of Teas, would you consider including Moroccan (https://cookidoo.co.uk/recipes/recipe/en-GB/r338888) & Japanese Teas, perhaps functioning like the Backyard Stuff drink trays? . I have scoured the interwebs for functional versions of these with little success. Anska kindly shared a Japanese tea tray recently (probably made for herself) - that' s the only one I've seen so far.

You're a couple steps ahead of me 😆, These will be coming in the near future, I'm still working out some set ideas for them.

My humble opinion, 1. Chammomile is used for calming or winding down before bed. It can help calm anxiety. I would put a relaxed/calming buff saying something about Ahh so peaceful and calm. (sorry not good at know what to say but that's the gist) 2. Earl Grey, English Breakfast, and Irish Breakfast are normally ingested in the morning with breakfast I would put an energized/ready for the day type buff. They can also be ingested at "tea time" in the afternoons for a little pep to get through the day. Those are the only ones I know of from experience. I would guess the lavender one would also be a calming tea. So yes, that's my input :)
