Canning Skill

A Patron mentioned that they thought there should be a separate canning skill and when I was reviewing my notes and planning for upcoming content today I found an outline I created for this years ago 😅 IF I decide to create a canning skill, please tell me what you prefer by voting below!

🚨This poll is a little different and it will allow you to choose multiple options - please only choose 1 option from each section!🚨

Section 1 - Animations

Option 1 - Requires Cottage Living - Use the same animations as canning in cottage living where you boil ingredients, pour into jar, then boil the jar on the stove and pour into final jar - this will require you have the Cottage Living pack to use

Option 2 - Requires Base Game - Use base game animations like a normal recipe where you boil ingredients and pour into a jar

Either way the goal is to incorporate the canning recipes from Cottage Living into the skill.

Section 2 - Ingredients

Option 1 - Requires Ingredients- All ingredients are required to make canning recipes

Option 2 - Optional Ingredients- All ingredients are optional to make canning recipes, if you have Simple Living active then they are required

I would prefer Cottage Living animations, but would it be possible to make a Base Game one?

Maybe, but it would be a lot of time and work to complete. I can take a look at it but I don't want to commit to something I may not be able to finish in a reasonable amount of time.

Well, I'd prefer Cottage Living animations because I own it. But I think it is better to make it a Base Game skill : for those who does not own Cottage Living it might be frustrating.
