I'm sorry.... I laugh every time you say that you have to wait to watch an episode. I've been a fan since day one, so I have always had to wait at least a week and sometimes 3-4 months (on season cliffhangers). But, I feel your pain! I am way too emotionally attached to these characters.

I don't think that the show was given a ton of notice that they were being canceled. CBS kind of let them know by ordering a short season, but I think they were on the bubble of being re-newed. So, they kind of wrapped things up quick, to make sure they resolved stories and all that. I thought the finale hit a lot of good notes, from nostalgia to the friendships between characters. But, I remember watching it the first time and being really upset that the show was ending.
