C. Thomas Howell.... the sweet kid from ET, The Outsiders and Red Dawn.... first time that I saw this episode, I couldn't believe he was playing the Reaper. Seriously, a great performance and one of the best villains ever in the entire series!

The absolute dread I feel every time I see this episode is always palpable. the arc that George Foyet/The Reaper starts is always an intense one in Criminal Minds history. The absolute pain I feel when I see Hotch getting so emotional and actually having tears in his eyes after he declines the deal with Foyet which proceeds Foyet to kill those people on the bus. He blames himself so much for their deaths because he didn't take that deal and feels so responsible. Rossi is right when he says that Foyet killing those people on the bus isn't Aaron's fault, that it's just what serial killers like Foyet does. The only thing that irked me was that Rossi said that that voice in his head, blaming himself was Aaron's ego but I don't think that is the case at all because it's genuine guilt and blame with Aaron because that's who he is and that's what he does, especially in this case.

So great to watch you enthralled with the intensity of this episode, almost immediately grasping the implications of each revelation. Foyet is a brilliant, despicable, terrifying villain, and it's very satisfying to see you coming to the same conclusion step by step just like we did!
