I love how clueless Reid can be in an adult conversation, but so great with kids. Especially with children who have some kind of issues. He knows how it feels to have a different brain than most people, he has a way of reaching them. Every time Reid is the main character of the episode, I know it's gonna be a great one. He makes me emotional, even more than Derek, which it's pretty remarkable for a character who struggles so much with emotions.

I love the way they did this episode especially since the actor who plays Rossi has an autistic daughter in real life so what he knows about autism and about being a father to an autistic child is 100% spoken from experience and Reid is basically written as an autistic character it makes sense that he is able to click with Sammy and get through to him better than anyone else.
