no, owen definitely didn't help at all. in fact, he made it worse. intentionally. then lied to cristina about it. because of his moment with teddy in the elevator, he feels it would be easier for him to not cheat on cristina if the woman he wants to cheat with was gone. that's always how i saw it at least

I kinda see your point, BUT the hospital is primarily a teaching hospital, so they don't just look for someone who's the best surgeon, they also look for the best teachers. Teddy in her first ep, taught Christina and Avery something most other surgeon's would of probably missed.
