Since launch, so many new players have joined the Discord server, and I’ve received tons of amazing feedback and constructive criticism.

As you probably noticed already, I'm changing the way I'm counting the devlogs. From now on, I will count them back from the start after each major updates. So this one is 0.2 Devlog #1!

TL;DR:

Hypnosis arc!Reduce stress by visiting a newly established hypnotherapist in downtown Sitria. Choose between a safe route or a more rewarding NSFW route. (3 NSFW scenes for now)

Metro visual rework!The whole visuals of the metro mini-game has been reworked from the ground-up. It ranges from the models, lightings, shaders and even the animations for a more realistic and fluid experience.

A new reputation system has been added, and the stranger’s audacity can now reach 75%, unlocking new actions, undressed states, and special secret outcomes...

🌀​ The Hypnosis Arc 🌀​

The Hypnosis Arc has been my main focus this month, as I really wanted to make sure it received all the care it deserves.

For now, the route includes 3 NSFW scenes, with a possible 4th one if I have enough time.

When Luna becomes stressed enough, she’ll look for a way to ease her anxiety and stumble upon an online ad for a newly established hypnotherapist in downtown Sitria. She’ll then decide whether or not to give it a try.

Players will be able to choose between a standard SFW route, which reduces stress and grants the “Relaxed” buff, or a more experimental process for reasons I won’t spoil here.

Each time you choose the experimental process, you’ll progress further into the route and gain a new permanent Hypnosis buff level, introducing new rules between Luna and the hypnotherapist.

While Hypnosis permanently reduces Stress gain, it will also gradually increase Arousal and Frustration gain...

Choices matter.

✨​​ Metro Visual Rework ✨​

Finally! All the animations has been reworked!

To be honest, this part was absolutely dreadful to work on. The metro rework meant remaking more than 250 video files, which is pretty crazy when you think about it.

I’m not completely done yet, as I still need to remake the cut-ins, but those should be much quicker to finish.

Lighting and shading aren’t the only things that have changed either. I’ve also remade every single animation, aiming for a smoother and more fluid experience overall.

Last but not least, I’ve shortened the animations slightly and re-compressed them using better settings. As a result, the entire metro system will take up much less storage space than before, further improving the game’s overall optimization!

🔥​​ NEW Metro content! 🔥​

I’m introducing a Reputation System that determines how Luna is perceived by the metro stranger and increases max audacity to 75%, leading to new actions! Also, Luna will be able to wear the sports outfit while riding the metro!

Here’s a quick breakdown of how the system works:

Metro Reputation (NEW!):Represents Luna’s reputation in the metro. The lower it is, the higher the stranger spawn rate and the faster their Audacity and Arousal increase. It changes depending on how you handle each encounter and gives the mini-game a real sense of progression.

Audacity:Represents how bold the stranger is. It is divided into 4 tiers: 0–25% / 25–50% / 50–75% / 75–100%.Each tier unlocks new actions and undressing options. Tier 3 will be the maximum in 0.2.

Arousal:Represents how close the stranger is to orgasm. For now, it doesn’t have much impact.Later on, reaching 75%+ Arousal will allow him to enter “Selfish Mode,” where he may expose himself and try to reach orgasm on his own.

The new audacity tier 3 will let the stranger fully undress Luna...

Also, if Luna’s reputation drops below 150, the stranger’s Audacity is high enough, and Luna reaches orgasm, a secret outcome may occur...

📈 New Reputation menu! 📉​

For those who played through 0.1, you probably remember this menu still being a work in progress. Well, in 0.2, it will finally be available!

This menu not only lets you keep track of Luna's reputation across different activities and locations, but also includes a Records screen, where you can check all those sweet, sweet details.

How much money have you earned? How many times have you cleaned the same dirty spot at SpaWorld? How many pizzas have you made? How many times have you gotten... Eh, let's not talk about that here! 👀​

Most systems in NotM will make use of a reputation system, whether it's tied to jobs or specific areas of the game, such as the Metro and the University.

This will give each location its own clear sense of progression, as Luna's reputation will directly affect the events and situations linked to that place.

So what's planned for October?

For October, I really want to focus on introducing the University Reputation System and the random SFW / NSFW content.

The month may end up being almost entirely dedicated to this, as I want to create as many random events as possible and give everyday university life a stronger sense of anticipation and unpredictability.

Expect some cute SFW events with friends and strangers alike, but also plenty of NSFW content that will become more frequent and intense as Luna’s reputation slowly drops.

But I’m sure you guys are going to keep Luna known as a perfectly good and innocent student...

Right? RIGHT?!
