Volume 2 Chapter 97: The End of Childhood (Part 3)

"We are wanderers from the far reaches of the universe, who have endured a long and arduous journey."

"This spectacle is not our doing. The Bilusaludo had no part in it."

. . .

"We are the Exif, a people whose homeworld was destroyed by an unforeseen calamity. Forced into exile, we embarked on a long voyage across the stars—"

"Guided by the will of the Exif God—"

"We come in peace, bearing advanced technology, and we wish to exchange it for one-fifth of this planet’s—"

Above Earth’s cities, the iridescent clouds broadcast their voices in perfect synchrony.

The neutral, almost otherworldly voice echoed across every metropolis, carrying an inexplicable power—a soothing force that calmed the anxious hearts of those below.

Even the government officials, who had just been struck by this bombshell revelation, felt their panic gradually fade.

It was as if every living soul on the planet had just received an injection of tranquilizer.

Serene.

Gentle.

The voice drifted through the world like a soft lullaby.

Even Godzilla, resting beneath the earth in Australia, heard the voice.

And even it—the King of Monsters—felt a strange sense of peace wash over it.

The voice continued, unhurried, revealing its purpose.

"We, the Exif, look forward to coexisting with humanity on this planet."

Then, as the final syllables faded, so too did the radiant clouds.

The sky returned to its normal, unremarkable state.

The massive, ten-kilometer-wide light clusters—vanished, leaving no trace behind.

No lingering glow.

No residual sound.

Nothing.

As if they had never been there at all.

As if everything that had just happened was nothing more than a collective hallucination.

The Exif had erased every shred of their presence.

Yet, deep within every person’s mind, that voice still echoed—endlessly repeating.

Ten minutes later—

A delayed wave of realization swept through the human population.

People rushed to grab their phones, frantically dialing government hotlines, desperate for answers.

The World United Government’s communication lines were instantly overwhelmed.

Call centers collapsed under the sheer weight of millions of simultaneous calls.

Operators struggled, unable to handle the worldwide surge of demands for an explanation.

Chaos erupted within the government offices.

The moment the voice had stopped, officials had snapped out of their eerie calm, only to find themselves drowning in an even greater state of panic.

Their minds were now bursting with even more questions.

Has Bilusaludo really been telling the truth?

Were they truly uninvolved with the mysterious glowing clouds and the global transmission?

If they had been lying, what would they have gained from it?

Nothing.

If deception held no benefit, then the logical conclusion was…

It had been real.

Another alien race had just arrived.

And based on the glowing spheres that had hovered over every city, they were already here.

But where were they now?

They had spoken of an offer—of technology.

Yet they had not stated what humanity would need to give in return.

A storm of unanswered questions churned through every official’s mind.

Humanity was now utterly overwhelmed.

And they weren’t the only ones.

Even the Bilusaludo were furious.

The signal from Earth had yet to reach their mothership in orbit around Saturn, a distance of 83 light-minutes away.

Before the Bilusaludo had even spoken their first words, they had already dispatched an advance team.

At this very moment, that team was stationed beneath the surface of the Moon.

"What the hell is going on?! How could another group of extraterrestrials have appeared on Earth besides us?!"

Deep beneath the lunar regolith, three Bilusaludo stood, their faces twisted with a rare and unmistakable emotion—rage.

They had never expected another alien presence to arrive on their designated planet—let alone before them.

And yet, it had happened.

"We need to move now. We must head to Earth immediately. We can't afford to let them gain too much of an advantage. The mothership hasn't arrived yet, and our brethren are still in hibernation. If those creatures seize too much territory from the low-intelligence natives, it will hinder our long-term development."

"What about the treaty? Are we just going to break it?"

"No. We won't break it. We'll wait. Then, we’ll inform the low-intelligence species of our presence ahead of schedule. They will have no choice but to accept it—two separate alien arrivals will cause far greater chaos than just one."

"In fact… they might even suggest it themselves."

. . .

Meanwhile, on Earth.

As the initial panic began to settle, the World United Government finally gathered its wits and reached a decision.

Through the communication device provided by the Bilusaludo, an official delivered their message in the human language:

"After recent discussions, we, the World United Government, would like to request that our esteemed visitors reveal their presence to the world today. Would the extraterrestrial envoys be willing to comply?"

There was a moment of static—followed by a brief pause.

Then, the reply came through the communicator.

"Understood. The Bilusaludo will make their appearance today."

The transmission ended abruptly.

And on the far side of the Moon, something massive began to stir.

A colossal structure—over 4 kilometers long and 800 meters wide—burst through the lunar surface.

The massive warship rose from the depths of the Moon’s crust, ascended into the vacuum of space, and began its journey toward Earth.

Down on Earth, citizens were still caught up in the awe of the Exif’s arrival.

The government hotlines were still overloaded.

Then, a new celestial anomaly appeared in the sky.

A brilliant meteor, clearly visible to the naked eye, hurtled toward Earth.

The sudden event startled millions.

At that very moment, the Bilusaludo’s warship hijacked every phone, computer, and radio transmission across the globe.

A message echoed across every device—

The Bilusaludo’s official introduction.

"I am the Ambassador of Planet 3 of the Bilusaludia binary system."

"Our homeworld, Planet 3 of the Bilusaludia binary system, was pulled into a black hole after a collision with a cursed demon star. Forced to flee, we have wandered the cosmos for countless ages."

"After 73,245 years, according to your calendar, we have found your planet."

"And on it, we have witnessed the two beasts that terrorize your world—Godzilla and Kaiser Ghidorah."

"As a race that cherishes peace, we Bilusaludo cannot bear to see your civilization destroyed by these monstrosities."

"Thus, we offer you a deal. If you accept our presence—"

"We will eradicate these two vile creatures for you."

"And we will bestow upon you all the technological advancements necessary for an interstellar civilization."

"That is our offer. We hope you will accept us, people of Earth."

Two alien civilizations.

In a single day.
