Volume 2 Chapter 107: The Ascension of Technology

On the fifteenth day after Kaiser Ghidorah was defeated—May 31st—humanity welcomed the descent of the stars.

The Bilusaludo and Exif, two alien races who had traveled across the cosmos, officially allied themselves with humanity. At 5:00 PM on May 31st, they gathered at New Eden, the new capital established by humans, to sign the “Interstellar and Earth Friendship Accords.”

This treaty defined the time and place of the Bilusaludo and Exif landings, confirmed their future settlements, outlined the principles of future interaction between Earthlings and extraterrestrials, guaranteed human rights for both alien species, and included a mutual exchange of their technologies.

At 6:00 PM, under the eyes of the global press, the Exif spaceship descended from the sky and landed on the lawn in front of New Eden's central headquarters. From within emerged the remaining members of the Exif race.

They stepped out in garments of pure white, resembling woven fabric. They stood before the crowd, displaying their full appearance to the world.

Through television and computer screens, people all over the planet saw them.

And across the globe, humans erupted into cheers at the sight of these aliens—who looked no different from themselves.

As if celebrating something. As if giving thanks.

Perhaps it was because, at that moment, humanity finally felt they were no longer alone in the universe.

Perhaps… yes.

But maybe… they were also cheering for something else.

Something about Godzilla and Ghidorah—those two terrifying entities.

. . . . .

The Exif, numbering just around 8,000, were led by government personnel to a newly built district in New Eden where they would reside.

After the Exif had finished their landing process—

In North America, the Bilusaludo’s massive super-dreadnought warship extended a long, strip-like elevator, enabling the several thousand human personnel present to board the vessel.

Following the Bilusaludo ambassador's lead, the humans stepped into the ship and reached the command chamber.

Once there, the Bilusaludo ambassador input a security key into the system, unlocking files containing the blueprints of their technology. He left behind a translation device, resembling a USB drive, that would allow humans to interpret the data.

Then, he departed the command chamber to proceed to the cryostasis area, where he would begin thawing his kin.

Meanwhile, the human team immediately began accessing and recording the unlocked scientific documents.

With the ambassador’s clearance in place, the scientists could now freely explore a universe of advanced knowledge.

They opened file after file, quickly finding what they sought—alien technology.

The Bilusaludo’s technology was laid bare, completely unencrypted, right in front of them. Though the language differed, the provided translator allowed the human scientists to easily read and understand the material.

Even from just the document titles, they could hardly contain their excitement:

Helium Fusion Reactor Design Blueprints

Methods for Creating Humanoid Artificial Intelligence

Techniques for Stabilizing Carbon Allotropes Constructed from Molecular-Length Chains (Carbyne)

These were the kinds of advancements that could catapult human civilization centuries, even millennia, into the future.

And now, they were right there for the taking.

With this knowledge, humanity will undoubtedly reach an unimaginable peak!

Just from the visuals alone, so many advanced technologies could already be identified. If humanity could fully absorb and understand all of them, not to mention Godzilla, they might even be able to destroy the Ghidorah on Venus with their own power alone.

Using photography, page after page of these documents was captured and sent to top laboratories for image-based analysis.

And at the same time that humans unlocked the ship’s data using the master key—

Deep within the vessel, the remaining Bilusaludo, still in cryostasis, began to awaken.

These 100,000 Bilusaludo, who still retained their physical bodies, climbed out of their cryo-pods. After dressing themselves, they listened to a broadcast playing solely within the cryo chamber.

In the broadcast, the Bilusaludo ambassador Mutto Lorenlo announced to his awakened kin that they had discovered a new habitable planet.

He didn’t mention anything about plans to invade the planet.

He simply and plainly described the Earth’s ecological system, civilization, and the fact that kaiju phenomena were still occurring.

As the awakened Bilusaludo listened, many of them shed tears when they heard about the monster activity on this world.

Because that meant… their long era of wandering was finally over.

Their promised land had arrived.

. . . . .

Meanwhile, the human team remained aboard the vessel, continuing to photograph the documents for distribution to their laboratories. Due to the sheer volume of technology stored in the Bilusaludo ship, they estimated it would take at least ten full days to finish documenting everything.

The total word count of the archives exceeded 100 million characters, encompassing the entire scope of Bilusaludo technology, from applied industrial knowledge to the cutting-edge.

Strictly speaking, this collection couldn’t be called a series of research papers. It was more like a set of comprehensive textbooks.

In other words, what now lay before humanity was a colossal super-textbook of over 100 million words.

There was no filler, no unnecessary content. Every line, every experiment, was a major breakthrough or discovery.

Every part of it had the potential to elevate humanity to a higher plane of existence.

Even just cataloging it all would take ten days. To fully absorb its content might take years—or even decades.

But even if it took that long, to humanity, this would still represent a tremendous leap in civilizational progress.

. . . . . . .

At the same time the Bilusaludo data was being transmitted to the human side, the Exif’s technology also arrived.

Unlike the textbook-like structure of the Bilusaludo archives, the Exif's material resembled scientific papers.

While they weren’t as comprehensive or structured as the Bilusaludo textbooks, the sheer volume of the Exif materials was staggering—far beyond what the Bilusaludo had offered.

The Bilusaludo archives had avoided sharing their most cutting-edge tech, since textbooks by nature don’t typically contain the absolute forefront of mathematical or industrial advancement. You wouldn’t expect a schoolbook to explain how Perelman solved the Poincaré conjecture, or how elite industrial teams engineered semiconductor lithography machines.

But the Exif’s materials were different.

They felt like someone had just dumped the entirety of their cutting-edge scientific research directly into humanity’s hands.

It contained the most advanced theories, the largest datasets, and…

…the most fanatical belief.

What… was this stuff?
