The House of Dys

For NMM do you normally select the audiences point of view or are you able to make it NMM for a 360 degree view? I ask because I enjoy metallic paint as it responds well on the tabletop in games but I know that isn't ideal for a center piece in some ways.

I really expect the OSL mini tuto !!! thank you maestro

the general idea that NMM only looks good from a single point of view is just a myth, because the reflection of the nmm respond to an hypotetical light that follows the mini all time. So if is well executed will be look good in all the occasion. At least my nmm blood angel looks great always from any angle. the ilumination in the real world has zero affection to the minis because I am who control where the light is place. I invite you in get deep into nmm with your minis and you will realize that this is absolutely true

Hello. It's a very usefull lesson to understand how it works. Is it the same theory for chrome and Iron ?

elminiaturista

yes for the Iron and any colored metals, but not for chrome

Amazing Tipps THX! Question: How do you get the Model in the App, so that you can paint in the model?

User

Hi! I just wanted to say this is one of the best miniature painting tutorials I’ve ever seen—really insightful and packed with useful information. I had a couple of questions: 1) I noticed you always seem to plan and paint the shadows very deliberately on each miniature. Do you usually do a prior analysis of the model (lighting, colors, etc.) before starting? 2) I also saw that you use some kind of program or app. I know there are many out there, but would you mind sharing which one you use? Thanks a lot for the amazing content!
