GOING NUTS
What can I say, the squirrel loves her nuts.
Love this character, I see the internet does as well 😅. I plan to use her again and other Marvel Rivals girls when I can. Got the monthly posed up and need to get to work on that before the end of month.

**Tech Notes**
There's not much special here. I planned to keep this one quick so I didn't try to do much different here so I'll just rant all in the same paragraph. I used physics for for the butt which I think came out pretty good. I did the animation pretty quick but actually wasted alot of time on the 2nd back angle. Originally almost all the balls and peens used cloth physics and it worked but there was one look that I couldn't get to look good which kind of ruined the whole thing so in the end I got rid of all the physics and just manually animated it in like 1 hour. So that was quite a bit of wasted time but oh well. I like the lighting, it's kind of basic but I think looks good and has good shadows. The background is kinda eh so maybe I could have made that look better.
(2nd paragraph, I lied)
This animation made me realize I need to optimize my bones for faster work. Basically when animating faces which was kind of expressive vs my normal efforts, I took all the faces bones and then hide everything else. That way I can go wild and set many frames not worry about which ones are selected and if I'm messing up other frames or not. In the end it gave me quicker work and more control. Side note, faces are the most fickle thing to pose. One little inch move and the face looks like it is conveying a whole different expression. It's pretty interesting to see how specific human faces are in conveying expression through the smallest movements
(3rd paragraph, the last last paragraph)
The faces were done actually pretty quick. Maybe an hour or two for both expressions generally. I focused on making the different faces and then worried about when and where they went. Once again, Pose to Pose is a must for animating. Make the main expressions and the stuff in between you can adjust later. If you have ever seen how many frames are included in animation, you'll understand why organization can be so important.
