Hello! Sorry for the late upload (at least for my EST timezone). I have become nocturnal and have found writing to be much better at night lol! Here is the Seven POV that so many people have asked for. Truthfully, I thought I wrote this already, and it appears I was mistaken.

Honestly don't know how you do it, I'm mentally exhausted after filling in forms for my son, and here you are writing amazing & long chapters as well as bonus scenes for us. As we say in Northern Ireland, you're a wee cracker. Think I found a wee missing bit on the first page. "won this week and while his bandmates tried to convince him it's probably rigged" Think that's meant to be the bandname at the beginning of this sentence but we weren't asked that question.

i wonder if Seven will ever realize that they're actually quite successful at hurting MC? ^^; i will never not find it funny how Seven is thinking that MC is always so calm, collected, indifferent, and my MC is just basically panicking and screaming on the inside, and having an existential crisis most of the time >< ^^

I'm looking forward to this, probably more than anything else. I want to see Seven get hit in the face with the fact that he is basically stabbing my MC in the heart every time he is near her. Every scoff kills another piece of her heart, every glare makes her sink further into depression and despair, knowing she's alone and that it's all her fault that she lost the one person who actually cared about her. I want her to shatter completely, all the time knowing she deserves it for betraying him, and I want him to have to freaking watch it and know he did it to her. I wonder if seeing her "get what's coming to her for being so terrible of a person" will be enjoyable to him?

Another variable I believe is missing is G’s gender! This was so good I loved it <3 intrigued to see sevens reaction in future to an MC that engages in a lot of drinking, drugs, and partying

That was awesome, and I found it funny (and fitting) that Seven apparently didn't even notice he was brushing his thumb over MC's hand when they were on either side of Frankie. I had figured it was an unconscious thing--falling back into how things were at the feel of MC's touch. But... Seven's fickleness with everything is going to drive me (as a reader) batshit crazy. And it's not just the fickleness with the MC ("I hate them!" "Why do I want to be around them?" "I could never hate them!"). Seven, one second: "Ugh, I'm glad Avina isn't here, they'd make everything worse." Seven, three seconds later: "I didn't want a drink, but the fact that Avina gave it to me makes it perfect." Talk about whiplash! The funny part is that, like Seven, I want the MC to suffer horribly. I want them broken and proverbially bleeding on the floor. And I can't wait till they are actually together so Seven can make the MC feel horribly insecure and unwanted by keeping them at arm's length (the thing I dreaded, I now crave, because Seven is right, and the MC was entirely at fault). That said, I still hate Avina with an undying passion. And I'm not too fond of the rest of SV, either. So every time Seven fawns over them and acts like Avina is his savior, it makes me feel like vomiting!

I'm so happy for this, thankyou, Amy! I love reading all the angst from each different perspective. I love that the MC and Sev are basically feeling the tension, but each one thinks the other is fine.

Seven burner account? I’m getting whiplash reading the end bit. Seven isn’t going to keep MC at arms length and you literally just depicted why. Even when they hate MC they don’t, Avina, their closest friend is competing with “hatred” and still losing. I don’t get the angle. Is the point just for everyone to be either really unhappy? Or mildly okay? Where is the satisfaction in reading just pure angst?

There’s this interaction where the MC rolls their eyes at something 7 said and 7 is like “WHY is MC so indifferent/ they dgaf” and literally 3 minutes before 7 rolls their eyes at MC on one of their first interaction on the pov 🤭🤣 I find it kind of funny how 7 doesn’t even register how they come across.

Did you read the Valentine special? Seven will keep MC at arm’s length for a while, and even after the new “healthy” relationship will be more distant and not so attached. And Avina isn’t ’losing’ anything. Despite the fickleness, Avina and SV are Seven’s family… not the MC. Serves the MC right, AFAIAC. As for my angle… after the chapter 4 update, I am team 7 and think the MC is backstabbing jerk who deserves all the pain they get. We know Seven will end up happy and healthy, regardless of if they make up with the MC or not, and I figure that’s the main part of the story, that the MC was the source of 7’s misery but they will get over it. The other point is MC trying to win the competition with all the odds piled against them. We know they can win, but it will be damned near impossible given everything against them and the win may be the only happy they get. I think most of the romances will, best case, be kind of bittersweet, mainly because I think the point in the relationships is that friends and your job are more important than a SO, who should only occupy a tiny corner in your life (that appears to be Sev’s lesson, at least). I don’t agree with that sentiment, so I see it as bittersweet, but I figure most will find it to be happy because they agree. Anyway, I don’t see it as pure angst. I do see it as karma kicking the MC in the teeth, though, and think it is well deserved. If they can learn from it and see why they were wrong—and apologize and try to make amends—then maybe they will get a relatively decent ending. If not, then karma probably isn’t done yet and they will probably lose everything.

I think you’re right about Savina, though once Seven gets their head together, I think Avina will be even more important to Seven and they will be closer than they are now (basically joined at the hip minus the conflicting thoughts from Seven). Since SV is Seven’s “family”, it makes sense. The thing that bugs me about Avina is more about the character than about Savina, at this point. To me, Seven acts like an addict in some ways, especially where MC is concerned. I am close with people who are addicts, so when I see Avina pressuring Seven about forgetting the MC—then bashing MC (the object of addiction—it grates because it is not helpful to Seven and really does make things worse (something 7 recognizes in this POV). Avina is too much of a damned busybody to STFU and just be there for 7 without either making it about themselves (and how great they are for 7) or trying to run 7’s life. 7 has to figure it out themself, and figure out how to have a healthier attitude (MC is awful but it is unhealthy for 7 to wallow in hatred, even if they think it is the only self defense mechanism they have). I get the feeling 7 is going to have to hit rock bottom before they get past the hot and cold, love and hatred of MC to get something healthier. And constantly badgering them isn’t going to help them get to that point. It will just piss them off. Anyway..: that’s just my take on it.

I think we are too early in the story to actually tell what their “lesson” is. Besides only Amy knows how and what their character development will be, for every character. Also I don’t think the point of the story is about mc getting karma ? that wouldn’t make sense. This is not the story where you can see things black or white and I really love that we get to navigate the grey area. It’s more human imo.

I did read the Valentine’s special, but as far as I know, it isn’t considered canon, and the tone or direction is likely to change over the next few years. You’ve been consistent in describing MC as a terrible person, which makes me curious about your thoughts on G. Based on the same standards, their actions seem comparable, difference is that they’re married and actually treat their partner poorly. Excluding the vote, Seven and MC were good.

Imo the valentine special which is not even canon just shows Seven being super scared of messing up and thus overcorrecting and trying to be more distant in order to avoid making any "mistakes" and ruining the relationship again but knowing how much Seven is a yearner and in love I don't think such attitude will last long. I also don't even see how he considers SV a family? He seems mostly annoyed by everyone and feeling guilty about it because He just cannot connect with them in a meaningful way and it's not his fault even if he thinks it is, it's because they treat him like a child and don't really take his opinions in consideration which he obliviously doesn't like, if anything I think in the future they will be more coworkers than anything when he gets his self esteem and fear of being alone in check. Same thing for Avina he just cannot handle being alone at the moment and just needs someone to be his "friend" but even then he doesn't really like them THAT much this is what i get from the povs, now Avina's feelings are another can of worm. Imo Seven's lesson is about learning how to be alone so he can be TOGETHER with someone in a loving and meaningful way and not in a debihilitating anxiety and self deprecation way, He matters as an individual and shines in a healthy and loving relationship with MC but he also isn't worthless by himself and doesn't need to attach himself to anything/anyone that gives him a crumb of attention that's so dangerous if you think about it.

Seven was not keeping MC at arms length at all in the valentine’s special—7 confesses that they had to force themselves to go to sleep in order to keep themselves from running to MC. Also, as soon as MC is like “we’re not friends. its valentine’s day. let’s hang out” 7 immediately complies and since in the valentine’s timeline theyre still on the show, 7 takes MC somewhere without cameras and not public where they (maybe i misremember but im pretty sure) cuddle and watch a movie. 7 says theyve never been so in “like” with MC and the reason they have to hold themselves back from saying things like “love” and making things official is mainly due to the fact that they want a normal relationship with MC, a relationship that progresses at a normal pace because 7 (and possibly MC) thought that since they were friends before their feelings came up, they could just immediately skip to the relationship part but thats not how it works. And 7 still breaks those rules kind of when they kiss MC at the end of the short lol.
