Sev Deleted Scene Part + Victoria CH4 POV #1 [band tier] (Patreon)

Hello! I'm glad to be back in the swing of things :) I feel refreshed and lighter knowing chapter 4 is done (aside from the errors and stuff but unfortunately it's just me right now </3)

Anyway! Because I worked on chapter 4 so long and worked and reworked it I have so many deleted scenes just sitting in my files. I thought it'd be nice to share what I know I won't use once in a while.

This Seven deleted scene is short (2.6k words) but it's what would've been the start of the talk on the bus. My original idea was honestly a mess and I sensed the original convo I had for them had no point. I try to make sure every conversation has a point to it, even if it's simply to develop the character or then I'd start to meander and yeah.

Plus–and you can tell me if I'm wrong—it didn't feel like Seven much. IDK! That's there for your reading pleasure! (I had to cut out a few parts because I was rereading and realized they were too good to leave as a deleted scene so hehe)

And then there's the Victoria POV of their secret meeting (5k words). I'm excited for Victoria's development and that meeting was just the start so :)

I will Gladly take any Seven scene. Honestly, I'm a little bummed I couldn't be more... I don't know... Communicative (?) with Seven in that scene. Kind of like how this deleted one mentions apologizing for them being collateral. I'm DYING for a confrontation to just get everything into the open.

Do you mean the official one? I totally get you! The confrontations and the deeper talks are definitely coming hehe :) I've been building the foundation for it! Seven just needs to be in a more comfortable place for it to be a productive one!

Oh yeah, its just leaving me wanting more! Honestly, this is likely the most engaged I've been with in terms of character in the 14 years I've been reading CoG style stuff. I MAY occasionally pretend I'm in a meeting in my office when really I'm in there doing another play through haha. In any case, I can't wait to see whats next. You're crazy talented!

i get what you mean abt it not feeling like Seven! but more so that it doesn't feel like how Seven'd act at the current moment in the story (that being said, I'd definitely like to see way more of this version of seven down the line)

i really hope we get a similar scene with seven soon :( as much as it pains me to say, i agree that the deleted scene doesnt feel like current seven but it was so nice seeing them have a somewhat normal conversation. i love u forever seven he makes me fall to my knees

Conversations between mc and seven always feel very vulnerable but this deleted scene felt vulnerable and open. I can't see it being the seven the readers know now, but it does fit his character. As for Victoria, I feel so bad that she's being forced to become the perfect wife while griffin (still love him) is able to roam around and be a stereotypical rockstar. If the coffee situation was completely griffin's fault because mc didn't agree to go, she still takes responsibility and makes excuses for him.

You definitely will! Seven's comfort is slowly growing…very slowly but it is lolol I'm excited to write them in a place where a conversation with MC isn't always so combative :,) I know Sev is aching for that too they'd just never admit it rn haha

I definitely agree that this feels in character for Seven, but just not right now. Idk when in the story we’ll get this seven, since as of now we do see glimpses of it whenever our parents call (first time was immediately followed by “I loved you once and now I feel nothing at all” though so I’m low key scared LMAO). It’s interesting to see two people who arguably trust each other to a degree while still harboring intense animosity (potential bus convo with Seven and then mc immediately being able to ask about Blake and Seven answering) all this to say you made the right choice but I’d love to have a similar scene where Sev is shoving food in their mouth right as mc walks in

Playing through the Victoria scene with Dyan, my vic loving mc (I have 3 mc’s lmao) and just wish that Victoria didn’t keep making excuses for G. I know she’s been married for so long and used to it but honestly in my mc’s eyes at least, G doesn’t deserve it. Can’t wait until she and Dyan can run off into the metaphorical sunset together lmao x

ahh accidentally put this comment on the wrong post at first so i'm moving it to this one. I always play these my canon way and then play around with the choices. I agree with the sentiment that this Seven scene feels like a Seven from later in the game, but it was still very fun to play around with. The scene that made it into the game really brought out the friction and hurt feelings still in the air between the two in a way that I really liked (seven saying they'd win in a faceoff if it came down to it was *mwah*). But also... Sev that can joke around, be a little looser. It's nice! I remember the eating my feelings line from one of your ch 4 previews and was wondering where it went! Vic POV!! I truly can not wait to see a Victoria who is more sure of herself. She seems like someone who likes to be in control (from what you've said in the past in the spicy sense but ALSO her romantic gestures in specials have always been very meticulous and elaborate and planned to perfection, her instagram is carefully curated and themed, she's very Careful in a lot of ways) but for now she feels like she has no control (ironically G feels similarly, theyre just not on the same wavelength at all, they both feel the other has power over them..... G feeling surveilled by her and Victoria feeling like G doesn't care about the repercussions of their actions and i feel like both have some valid reasons for feeling the way they do! i love complicated relationships!!). Anyway I can't wait to see a more... empowered Victoria as the story goes on, which it seems we get glimpses of when she lets herself flirt with a romanced MC (although those doubts are always in her mind!!)

My beloved Seven <3 But yeah, I get why it's deleted cause it does feel like Seven is too "comfortable" being somewhat civil with me 😭. The Seven in my current game probably won't tell me he is eating his feelings 😭😭😭Nor would he talk to me about the challenge relatively nonchalantly... I love how Seven doesn't want to even touch MC and in my head it's 100% because if Seven does, they couldn't resist just hugging MC or more. Like, if their hands accidentally touch Seven would instinctively tangled their fingers with MC's fingers and I'm not delusional❤️ But I eat it up every time I can act jealous. I love these options soooooo much. I want to be jealous. I want Seven to be jealous. And I want Seven to be slightly joyous and smug that they could sense that I'm jealous ✨
