Hello fellows. Time for an update! The adaptation to Adobe Animate is smoothed over, the progress feels like it was when I was using CS6. What's more, instead of animating at the home computer, I've started doing a bulk of my flash work at the office where I work on Project Nexus, and this sort of combining of the work hours guarantees I get in far more hours than I was before.  Getting home after a day of MPN crunch left little in the tank.I'm at just under a minute of animation on Madness Combat 9.5 Part 2. When this cartoon will be done will factor entirely on the whims of how many kills and backgrounds I need and want, as that's the stuff that eats up time (what is madness if not that?).  I know the final beat of the cartoon, but really the only thing that matters is how much blood is spilled along the way.Thank you for your patience and support, I hope to continue being worthy of it.

Keep going, Matt! I'm sure you'll make yet another great animation as you always do

2026-09-15 04:00 Btw, this isn't very relevant, but I'm curious if you've ever considered a soundtrack for an MC episode in the genres splittercore, noise, or something harsh like that. I kinda feel like it could be a good fit.

Oh man I don't know. I love that stuff but it might require that I animate the action EVEN FASTER! D:

I like how "I know the final beat of the cartoon, but really the only thing that matters is how much blood is spilled along the way." is basically just rephrasing "the journey is more important than the destination".
