I've been seeing a few comments lately claiming that Blush Blush uses AI art... and I just want to clear that up: it does NOT. All of our backgrounds, characters, and graphical assets have always been hand-drawn by real artists (and have been for years!!!)

So I thought I'd share some behind-the-scenes sketches and process work from our backgrounds. This is the real human-made magic that goes into the game and it's also why things can take so long with our small team and a high level of polish.

That’s a crazy accusation considering the game has been around years before commercial available Ai was around. I swear, things are getting nuts these days.

It feels like everyone is so quick to accuse without any actual proof of things being AI generated. It’s like they just want to find an excuse to dislike the art. Pretty ridiculous if you ask me. Also getting to see all the background art without characters in them is really cool! So many details I love it

I honestly can’t believe that it happened. BlushBlush has been out for a long time and way before AI was a thing. And it’s disrespectful for the artist who put their time and effort and just to be called AI :(
