It’s been quiet for a month, and here’s why: I was rebuilding the castings from the ground up. A big update is coming in early November.

The agency is on a TV show now. Waifu Agency has passed its probation on MegaBanger, an online show where agencies compete for viewers. From now on, every interview is broadcast live.

What’s new:

Live interviews. A real-time chat reacts to everything you say and do. Viewers come and go, donate requests and argue about the couch. Your choices decide how many people are watching.

Characters come alive. Clarice has 16 facial expressions, and they change on her sprite, not just in the dialogue box. Characters breathe, move when they talk, and fade into the shadow when they’re silent.

You take the photos. The photoshoot is now a real camera: frame the shot, zoom in, press the shutter. How far she goes in front of the lens depends on how you handled the interview.

Viewer show. Get enough viewers and chat starts sending requests: duck face, wink, tongue out and more.

Stream results. At the end you see your peak viewers, a star rating and your record with each girl. Beat it next time.

Rehearsal. After the stream, the camera goes off… and the real scene begins. What you learned in the interview changes how it plays out. You can even snap a few shots on your phone for a private album.

For patrons ($3+): Hinata on camera. For the first time, Hinata steps out of the earpiece and joins the stream.

First girl on air: Clarice. Yellow rubber gloves, a spotless home and a very strict sense of order. Ask the right questions and she’ll tell you what she likes. And remember: the gloves stay on.

Coming later: Training and Live Stream modes, a race against rival agencies for the top of the show’s rating, and the show’s curator, a new original character.

Thank you for waiting. It’ll be worth it.
