BadForReal

One of the best albums of this decade. I didn't even know them before someone picked 'Cry For Me' on one of your streams. Pleasant surprise, they're pretty good

She sounds the same live its wild

The best part is how all the switch ups are impossible to predict but still fits perfectly

This album is 100% a future classic. Production-wise, Matt and Mica (the two members of Mag Bay) fully produced this album themselves. They used to play in a progressive rock band so that definitely shaped the experimentation of this album. In terms of other albums, they only have 1 other full length album from 2021, Mercurial World. It is also amazing but slightly less experimental and weird. It’s full of bangers tho. They also have 3 Mini Mixes, which are short mixtapes and are pretty good too. I would recommend Mercurial World next and then in 2025 they released 8 singles, which aren’t part of any upcoming albums so they are definitely worth checking out (you heard one of these singles, Second Sleep on stream).

never heard of them until found angel on a satellite a few weeks ago and not normally my thing but the production and arrangement of it was so good it's been one of my most played tunes since, looking forward to exploring more here

This was an interesting listen. Production was really good, and it's nice to hear some creativity in pop music these days. But really, really not my jam. Cool though.

I subbed immediately when I saw you were doing this album! For me, zero skips in their entire discography. I stumbled across this album last year and they immediately became my favorite band.

Bleep Blap Bloop

as for more of their discography they released two singles every month back in september-november and seriously each one is worth checking out. but the fan favorites are "second sleep" and "star eyes"

ahhh one of my favourite albums! i had been a fan for ages before the album dropped, and so was listening to death and romance on repeat before it dropped. First time i heard the transition to fear and sex i think i actually transcended 😭
