I'm so dead at there being 30 minutes of straight instrumental at the end of this album

You might’ve heard Beware of Darkness in the movie Weapons, but honestly it was all over tik tok after the movie came out too 🙂‍↕️

Jazz

Beware of Darkness was notably in the opening of the film Weapons last year and it might have had a tik tok moment because of that tbh The apple scruffs song refers to three girls that followed specifically George around for the whole time he was recording this album. They used to stand outside the studio and they talked to him and Phil Spector almost every day. There was a group in general called the apple scruffs who followed the Beatles every day for years

TheGamingTapir

The songs after Hear Me Lord are all on side 6 of the album, and was included as a bonus, as George didn't have enough (lyrical) material to fill one more side of an album and so this is what they found to be a fitting compromise without cutting it down to only 2 discs, which would leave off hear me lord, i dig love and a few others. So its referred to as 'Apple Jam' because its just George and everyone from the album jamming. But this does it make rocks first triple album and certainly its best.

title track in b tier is insane

average art of dying listening experience

haven’t finished vid yet, but the instrumental jams aren’t really treated as essential to the album experience. hear me lord is commonly viewed as the emotional ending and then the jams function as rolling credits. on the vinyl, the instrumentals are on their own separate record titled “apple jam”

Uriko100

The Apple Jam - the instrumental at the end was out on a separate record (it was 3 record set, or triple album), so I like to see the 2 first records as a double album and the third as a bonus jam.

When you hit 1 year with this channel you should rank every generational classic

The backing band on this album is also the backing band on several other S tier albums by different artists, Layla and Other Assorted Love Songs by Derek and the Dominoes (Eric Clapton), Mad Dogs and Englishmen By Joe Cocker, and On Tour With Eric Clapton by Delaney and Bonnie.

It's such a good band that I appreciate hearing them jam. You just have to consider it a bonus after the real end of the album, which is Hear Me Lord.
