geese guy here, I actually disliked this album when I first heard it. heard getting killed, then heavy metal then this. but what I noticed was there were brief, maybe just 10 second long moments where the entire band would be one perfectly cohesive unit, like the instrumentals in I see myself and 3d Country single. this band are the definition of an acquired taste, give it a few days and one of the hooks will be in your head and you'll find yourself going back to this album again and again. thank you so much for this reaction sage, your honesty is the thing that sets you apart from all other similar reactors.

3D Country is kind of a concept album about the end of the world so you're right to get apocalypse vibes. Cowboy Nudes is about life getting better at the end of the world, and Cameron said title track is about about a cowboy who does psychedelics in the wild west and fries his brain forever so you're right to get losing it vibes too. As for genres this is def Classic Rock/Blues Rock with a dash of experiment, kinda Art Rocky. It's my favourite Geese album, in Getting Killed they get more serious in tone and Cameron reallyy develops as a lyricist but he also does a hard pivot vocally which is where all the comments on his voice come from, but still great in a different way. Cool video!!

Marten 9

You have to check out their newest album getting killed!!

Marten 9

Agree but i think you should start at the very beginning with Race🙂‍↕️

Cameron's project "Heavy Metal" is a must listen now ^^

Crusades is an incredible transition song. The whole album flows together beautifully, and after the crazy ending of undoer crusades is like a palate cleanser before the second half of the album. While it's not as interesting as any of the other songs musically, it serves its purpose well imo:) Also this album is an all-timer, I got the cowboy on the cover tattooed on my arm🙏
