The guitar in Marquee Moon is not a traditional blues based sound, which is kind of the point. Its discordant sound was highly influential on independent and college rock. They were contemporaries of Talking Heads, with both bands being mainstays of CBGBs in the late 70s. The full album is definitely worth hearing. Also, Phoebe Bridgers is amazing, and you should do more of her as well. I would highly recommend the Boygenius album with Phoebe Bridgers, Lucy Dacus, and Julien Baker.

Yesss, please do Punisher, its amazing. The song you listened to is definitely the most explosive, s lot of the songs are slow and somber, but the lyricism is just so good

im so lucky on the song wheel lol. the intro of when the musics over is very similar to the intro of a more popular song by the doors called "soul kitchen" which you might be recognizing it from.

I’d love you to do an album journey for DMA’s. They are my favourite current band and have changed their sound with each album and also did MTV unplugged which was great. I watched them on Wednesday in Middlesbrough play an acoustic set to promote their self titled 5th album which has just gone in at No1 in Australia and top 10 in the UK. They played Heatin Park.

oh yeah @Sage they definitely are influenced by 90s and 00s cheesy pop music but add a lot of jangly guitars and make things more real, there debut album from 2016 Hills End is a classic they toured it again this past year

Hooray my first time getting a song through! Glad you enjoyed. That whole album by the Cardigans is amazing and one day I will win some contest and get you to listen to it…
