Stressful even on a rewatch. Maybe one per week is the right idea for my own sake. (c: I recall that when I first started watching it, I was one season behind, so I watched the whole first season back to back. That was an exhilerating and stressful watch. I guess younger me had both the time and the constitution to be able to do that. I'm pretty sure I had the same reaction to the biological cylon ship, equal parts "wow, that's crazy, what does that mean, how do I reframe everything I thought up to this point with that in mind"; and also just feeling kinda grossed out, particularly at the very.. wet.. sounds. It was very effective.

Fun fact: Hot Dog is actually Eddie James Olmos' son in RL. So pumped to watch along with you Sonny and wish I knew how affordable it was to be a Patron here because I would've been here sooner! Can't wait for S1x06! So say we all.

One of the great “Dafuq?!” moments in sci-fi history, learning the cylon ships are individual beings…and they’re gooey inside.

For what it’s worth, IMO one BSG vid a week to YT would be totally fine and great. One to YT and a full one to Patreon a week even better. Faster than that, amazing but IMO not the priority. My 1 cent

I love the ongoing inner conflict as (Cmdr) Adama weighs and prioritizes the human race, military (which he’s been a part of forever), his crew, and his “family” by blood and otherwise eg Starbuck. Not an easy thing, and as we’ve seen sometimes everything may be sacrificed for one. Sounds so counterintuitive and illogical, but is absolutely human nature!
