Hi!
Today I have a real time coloring process video for you!
In this video you can see literally every pencil mark I made, every marker stroke in real time.
I only edited out moments where I reach for something, change colors etc.
Other than that it’s pretty much not edited AT ALL!
In this video I’m using mostly wide chisel nibs instead of brush pens. That’s because brush pens in some of my markers were damaged/almost dried up.
Contrary to a popular belief about markers, it’s possible to draw detailed/small things with just a chisel nib and it’s possible to blend colors smoothly without using brush pens!
Actually these wide nibs are the most versatile of all the other types.
If you have any questions about this coloring process, please feel free to ask in the comments or in private message.
This is the second video of coloring summer berries. The third and final one will be a coloring process of red currants. Then I’ll merge all 3 videos together and add color codes/names to the video (so you’ll see which exact color I’m using in the video)
For now, here’s the color palette I used for this particular illustration, in case anyone needs it:
All of the colored pencils are Faber Castell Polychromos.
Only the white pencil I forgot to list here is from Arteza (just because I don't have Faber Castell pencil in this color - brand doesn't matter that much)
Okay, I just realized I also forgot to mention the yellow marker I used only for a tiiiiny part of the illustration - it's "dandelion" Colorista marker.
Enjoy!
Love,
Marta
