Hi, hello, my lovely Patrons! ♥︎Long time no see, other than a few quick last minute updates.

Today I want to update you on some things, share (FINALLY) last month’s rewards, announce this month’s theme and share a few pencil sketchbook spreads with you!

˚⋆⟡⋆˚SOME LIFE/ART UPDATES˚⋆⟡⋆˚

I haven’t been doing very well, hence the lack of updates.

You deserve better, so I’ll try my best to get back to being more consistent on this platform!

Thank you so much for sticking around. It means more than you can imagine.

And pleeease don’t apologize for messaging me and asking questions!

You have the very right to do so and I appreciate you reaching out!

Since the last update my book got published, I went to London to visit my sister, sign some copies of the book and got to meet people that worked with me on the book!

Attended my first air-dry clay workshop (fun!), got commissioned to illustrate books about herbs, made tons of fruit illustrations, came up with some good ideas for future Patreon themes and saw an exposition about life of Vincent van Gogh!

(wanna see some photos of any of these? I didn’t want to make this post suuuuper long, but I can share some next time!)

I’m in the midst of a really bad depression episode, so all of this doesn’t even seem real or at least doesn’t seem to matter. I know they do!

I’m writing this probably to prove myself I’m still doing things. Just much slower and more quietly.

My mom is visiting today and will be staying here for a few days, so realistically I think I can get back to posting regularly in August!

Oh, how I’m looking forward to properly celebrate the premiere of my book! Soon, soon.

I feel like I’m finally, slowly, getting out of this terrible cavernous darkness.

Have any of you got your copy???!

I’ve heard some feedback already (so I know some of you did!) and would love to hear more. Also, if there’s ever anything you have a question about, like techniques, colors, materials, anything, please feel free to reach out to me.

The idea that the book might bring some inspiration or new knowledge warms my heart.

I guess that’s it in terms of life/art updates!

Ah, I didn’t intend it to be kinda… dark, but it is what it is I guess!

Okay, now, let’s see some pencil sketchbook spreads!

˚⋆⟡⋆˚PENCIL SKETCHES˚⋆⟡⋆˚

Honestly I’ve forgotten about that leafy sketchbook spread! I’ll share it in the next sketchbook update.

I was basically exploring some different types of leaves/branches and ideas for stickers! The quote on the page comes from the poem “May 1939” by Zuzanna Ginczanka.

The text is in Polish but it can be loosely translated to: “Spring, so different than any other Springs. Whatever you’ll bring me, I can handle anything”

I thought I’d share this one in this post, cause it’s kinda fitting. It’s suuuper vulnerable to share, but this one shows depression creeping in months ago.

What’s Spring without primrose sketches?

The book illustrations are sticker ideas, the plants on the right were my attempt to enjoying drawing crocuses (it didn’t work out!) The text is a title of one of the Time Impala's song.

I even tried to make some little notes about the plants. It was so fun to create! I should do such sketchbook spreads more often.

I made these illustrations thinking of the trip to mountains I took with my mom last year.

I might make a colored sketchbook spread in this style at some point. It’s definitely out of my comfort zone though!

And the last one for today.I sketched some comfort zone berries just to keep drawing. It’s a foreshadowing for this Summer Patreon themes by the way!

Speaking of which!!

˚⋆⟡⋆˚JUNES REWARDS˚⋆⟡⋆˚

June’s theme were STRAWBERRIES.

I haven’t announced it here (which I apologize for!!), only on IG.

There wasn’t any sticker sheet or print left and my printer ran out of yellow ink, so let’s take a look at the digital versions!

Ah, I loved making these rewards.I wish I could properly share them before June ended!

˚⋆⟡⋆˚JULY - THIS MONTH'S THEME˚⋆⟡⋆˚

For July I initially wanted to make illustrations similar to May’s theme, but with Summer field flowers instead of Spring meadow flowers.

I brainstormed some ideas and even made some sketches, but my heart just wasn’t in it.I know this theme is coming at some point, but I didn’t wanna force it.

I don’t feel verryyy creative or stable (if that makes sense) yet, so I had to wonder what I like and can draw no matter what. And guess what.

Blueberries are such things! And it’s Summer, so the theme is fitting!

I meeean, I’m not going to use all of them! The sketchbook spread on the left was made a while ago and I feel like my style has changed slightly since, so I’m not going to use illustrations from this one.

I made them having a future shop in mind, but with all the new EU regulations coming and my mental health not being the best, maybe I should focus on other things instead (like this page) for now.

I like how these illustrations and strawberry illustrations from the last month have a very similar vibe!

I colored the stars at the bottom of the page too early and then I kinda changed my mind about the composition, so I guess I’d have to somehow cover that part of the page. Fingers crossed!Speaking of matching themes/vibes…

Please tell me I’m not the only one who loves them so much!

I’ll make a few more designs for stickers and then a print.

I think it’ll be similar to the strawberry one!

As I said, my mom is visiting this week, so I’ll be working on it when she heads back home.

I’ll share the final products once I’m done in a rewards reveal post.⋆✴︎˚。⋆⟡⋆˚⋆✴︎˚。⋆⟡⋆˚⋆✴︎˚。⋆⟡⋆˚⋆✴︎˚。⋆⟡⋆˚

As I said earlier in the post, June’s rewards are on their way.

I don’t talk about it often enough, but I ship from Poland, EU! so it might take a while for the envelope to arrive to the UK and countries outside Europe.

May’s rewards were sent very late, but I hope they arrived to you already.

If you have any questions, please send me a message.⋆✴︎˚。⋆⟡⋆˚⋆✴︎˚。⋆⟡⋆˚⋆✴︎˚。⋆⟡⋆˚⋆✴︎˚。⋆⟡⋆˚

Starting from August I’ll be sending you messages once the mail has been shipped, so you have better idea when to expect it!!This post was mostly focused on mail club related things, but the content for other tiers is also coming soon.

If you happen to cancel your subscription before these things were posted don't worry - I'll share the content via email!

Oh, it's so good to be back.

Thank you for being here. I hope you're doing well! Wishing you all the best.Love,

Marta

Belle

Hi!! I have not received the may rewards yet, I know it should take time for USA but I haven’t seen anything

Moss

I just got mine in the mail today and I'm in NC!

Moss

Your blueberries are my favorite! I don't think it's wrong to recycle some drawings, it's not like they lost value over time. I remember you posting them and wishing I had some stickers back then anyway. Also, as a fellow artist I understand the struggle with mental health and continuing creating. It's not fair, making art is the best thing about humanity yet it's such a reflection of our own health. Please take care of yourself, whether things are happening or the brain just isn't working right, you deserve more than your fight with depression💚

muiri

Hi Belle! I can resend it next week if it won't arrive by that time if you're worried your envelope got lost in the mail ♥︎ no problem at all! May - oh, thanks for the update! better late than never I guess (ughh) Apologies again for the VERY DELAYED shippment and for the lack of updates! I hope you like the rewards! ♥︎

Moss

It's okay! It was my first one and I'm just happy to get it, also being in the US we aren't really sure what to expect with anything anymore lol. They look great

muiri

Thank you so much for such kind words – you have no idea how much they mean to me! ♥︎ Yeah, I also think there’s nothing wrong with using the illustrations I already made, especially since I haven’t used them for anything besides just an IG post. I think I’ll use the ones I made this May, but not the ones from last May, since they have a slightlyyyy different vibe and colors. Of course I’ll have to make some more illustrations for the monthly theme, but it’s nice to have a starting point for times like this! Oh, I hope you’re doing well or at least better now ♥︎ Sending you lots of love and thank you so much for this comment!

muiri

Oh! Hopefully it’ll arrive soon! I know it arrived to some of European countries already, but maybe not to all of them yet. I’m sorry to hear you had to deal with the depression and I hope you’re doing better now! ♥︎ Thank you so much for the kind words! (sorry my comment is in English, I used a translator to read yours!♥︎)

I'm sorry you're going through a rough time, it's important to look after yourself <3 you deserve to give yourself some tlc. I know what's it like to battle with your brain. Thank you for keeping us up to date and I look forward to more beautiful illustrations <3

Diana

I'm so happy to see your drawing again! So proud of you still doing this creativity things in the middle of depression. Sometimes when my OCD flaring up, it's really not easy to control them and I procrastinate a lot. Seeing you keep trying to draw it's amazing. Thank you for sharing wonderfull sketch book 🤗✨❤️

crownedmoon

I'm in the US too and just got mine today so yours should arrive soon if it hasn't already
