May I present you my very first video!

It's 23 minutes long full drawing process from start to finish, with a voiceover! (it's about 50/50 talking and just music). There's sketching, coloring, even painting, everything!

Oh my, making this video was such a humbling experience.

I've learned that editing takes tons of time and recording voiceover is more than just saying whatever comes to mind. I also learned that sometimes I talk too fast and I can't pronounce words such as "rule" and "generally" :D

There's a lot to improve but I'm really happy with how this video turned out and hope you'll like it too!

Pleaseeee let me know what you think and how you like this kind of videos!

I wanted to add subtitles but I haven't figured how to do it yet! Is there any way to do it on this platform? I could also just write a transcription and add it in this post later (now I just want to finally hit the "share" button).

PS. I'm already working on a next video! Since I launched Patreon late this month I don't have much time to create content for next month but any suggestions for future videos are more than welcome!

PS2. In this video I used some licence free music from Youtube music library (I didn't even know at that time that I can share videos directly on Patreon!). These songs are:

Cheel - Anywhen you say,         Cheel - Lazy walk,      Causmic - Far apart.

PS3. As always, if you have any questions or suggestions, go ahead!

Wow! This is so mesmerising, calming and professionally made😍🤩 I had no clue how many stages you had to go through to get to the end result!😲 I especially loved the hack with white paint - mind-blowing! 🤯

Is there a reason you put white gouache as base layer for the ? Thanks

muiri

oh, I’m so sorry, I missed your comment! Yes, there’s a reason for that. The paper in this sketchbook is ivory, so when I want to draw a flower that’s white/cream/any super bright color, I need to add the layer of white paint first, as a base. I hope it makes sense! Basically it’s the first step of coloring any white flower :)
