Hi! I have the first coloring pages for you!
It was my very first time making such things (note to self: next time don’t use textured paper)
I wanted them to have organic look so I kept the colored pencil texture. At first I wanted to redraw these designs with fineliners for the more clean look but decided to keep them as they are. If you have any feedback on that matter or on anything, please let me know!
Cleaning these designs was such a tedious but meditative process. It helped me a lot, calmed my mind for a while as I'm going through grief.I hope these coloring pages will bring you joy, calm, peace, practice or whatever you might need.
In the future I’d like to make more complex coloring pages, with full composition! This is just a warm up, so beware! These files are .pdf with transparent background.
There are 2 designs, A4 and A5 sizes versions of both + one A4 page including both of these A5 designs. This is the first design:
and that's the second one:
You can print them and just color them, print and trace them, color them digitally, rearrange these designs digitally and color your own unique composition, or do whatever you want (as long as it’s for personal use but I think it’s obvious for you).I’m also sharing a color palette.
Of course you don’t need all these colors to color these designs, I’m sharing this as an inspiration. These are colors I used for my recent blueberry illustrations.
Update about a video:
I recorded a coloring process video of this month’s print and was quite happy with the results. The bad news is, I permanently lost about half of the footage. Files were damaged during the transfer to my computer.
I don’t have any back up, because, you know, that supposed to be a back up, lol. I have about 1 hour of footage but it’s only about half of the process so the whole video wouldn’t make any sense.
I think I’ll just draw another berry themed illustration and record the process. I’m not sure if I could make it by the end of this month, which makes me feel sooo bad! I’ll do my best!
Thank you and take care!
