flip though my first ever finished sketchbook! 👀✏️ | about 80 pages of mostly unpublished pencil sketches | ~4 minutes, chill music ☁️ (Patreon)

Hi! Watch me flip through my first ever completed sketchbook!
In this sketchbook you’ll find some botanical studies, landscapes, portraits, sketches of objects, development of some ideas, experimenting with layouts, attempts to redraw old illustrations and probably more!!
This sketchbook was meant for solely sketches, so I was using only mechanical pencil (and occasionally old colored pencils when I’d go out of pencil leads, lol)
It has a special place in my heart.
I spontaneously bought it in some kind of 1$ store (I don’t know what got into me that day, I go to such stores once in a few years if ever)
At that time, in December 2022 I felt like giving up.
I was feeling uninspired, unmotivated, on a verge of quitting. Well, I had nothing to loose. So I stared drawing in this sketchbook regularly.
At first I just wanted to get myself into a practice of picking up a pencil everyday and maybe get my creative sparkle back. Then I used this sketchbook for studies, practices, warm up sketches.
Initially I wanted to make it just for myself. A few times I shared some pages from this sketchbook on my Instagram stories but other than that you’re the first ones to see these pages!
Completing this sketchbook took me about 8 months.
While drawing in it I didn’t have a thought of how it’d be perceived by other people. Not even once, so it’s like unfiltered version of my drawing practice, I’d say :D
It feels quite vulnerable to share it with anyone!
I’m going to make a sketchbook tour of this one.
What’s the difference between a sketchbook flip through and sketchbook tour, you might wonder.
In the sketchbook tour I’m going to guide you through these sketches and tell you stories/idea behind every page! I’ll need a better lighting and more time for this but this video is coming soon!
If any page/sketch caught your attention, please feel free to ask about anything!
As I said, there will be a more detailed sketchbook tour soon but if you have anything specific you’d like to hear about, just let me know!
PS. The light is not that great but it's the best I can find at the moment!
I might rerecord and reupload this flip through once the sunny days come.
For now, please enjoy this quick flip through and as always, I'd love to hear your feedback!
