no spoilers in my comment !! yesss the second half of the amv also makes me super emotional. like yall said it got rlly serious there and a lot of it rlly calls to what’s been happening in the most recent bits of the story which is what makes me super emotional cause we’re nearing the end soon 💔💔 not like within the next year or two, more like the next 5-7 years maybe, but it still feels like wow the end is rlly near the way nikki probably feels abt lotr is what i feel abt one piece. ive been watching it since i was a child and it’s one of the things that makes me who i am now. ive learned so much from it and it gives me genuine motivation (as lame as that sounds 😭). i honestly cant speak enough abt what it means to me i just wanna say to that a lot of ppl who start the show in recent years go in w high expectations bc of how big the series is. but the start isnt as grand as the later parts of the show. the first saga which is like I think 60 episodes is very much the prologue. it’s enjoyable and a fun watch, and definitely gets pretty deep and emotional, but it won’t knock you off your feet the way the rest of the story might. it’s a necessary part tho bc it sets up a lot of what we’re gonna see later on. but again it’s still a veryyyy good watch !! i just wanted to mention that bc a lot of ppl like to say that the show doesn’t get good till episode 300 or 400 or wtv, but that’s notttt true at all 😭 its more so like the show gets way better later on, but its good from the start from the things you guys mentioned you like in a story, i think yall will def enjoy this series. the lore and history of it is my favorite part (after the characters ofc). also get ready for political discourse within the series. it deals with pretty heavy themes that mirrors our real world. genuinely one of the most political anime’s out there. im only mentioning this since yall already watched the amv and picked up on that w the small mentions of the govt and stuff. but it still remains very joyous and hopeful despite all that, so yes a lot to cry abt in this series, both wholesome and tragic stuff lmaoo. oh but its also pretty funny much to a lot of ppls surprise i think. if you had to tag it w diff genres, comedy would def be one idk i have so much more i would love to say, but i know theres no need to have to further convince you guys since yall are already gonna watch it. it’s a long journey and i can’t promise ill be able to stay on patreon consistently, but ill always end up coming back here as long as you’re watching it (and ill be watching your other stuff too !! i’ve started your haikyuu reactions already). i truly hope you guys fall in love w the series the way i and many other fans have 🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻 and im sorry abt the stupidly long comment 😭
