How close are we to Trump just going for full dictatorship on a scale of 1-10 do you think?

Hi guys! The officer stayed on George Floyd's neck for a total of 9 minutes, if I remember right.

I wish these podcasts were video episodes- I’d watch that content.

I didn't notice the question about easing social distancing reasons, but in my case, I've come to spend some days with my partner, she was alone with her children and she has been overwhelmed during these months trying to balance their health, sanity and her work. So I had to came over as soon as the situation was "better" but it's far from perfect. In a couple of occasions she needed neighbors to come over and help, so she has been in contact with other people, and of course it's pretty impossible to keep social distancing with the children. In any case, I would love (and it would be helpful to my guilt) to hear more examples of people easing social distancing restrictions for more desperate reasons that "I had to go to a bar".

It was just announced that former Officer Chauvin has been taken into custody and charged with Third Degree Murder and Manslaughter. Hennepin County Attorney Mike Freeman left open the possibility of additional charges later. The Criminal Complaint will be paid public later this afternoon.

I'm glad you were at least willing to recognize that not everyone is experiencing COVID-19 the same. A lot of the cottage country areas here in Ontario are very reluctant to let people come to their cottages, and some are even fining people who come to hook up their water, etc. My parents lease a cottage on a First Nations Reserve and they aren't allowed to go there until the state of emergency has been lifted (now extended to June 9). Frankly, I totally agree. I live in a fairly touristy area that has been extremely lucky with the number of people impacted, and in spite of some of the locals getting restless, the biggest issue is going to be people from the more densely populated and more affected areas such as Toronto going to the more rural areas as tourists. I'm not personally concerned with getting infected, but I also don't want to be in a large group of strangers, or have people from the more affected areas coming here and shopping or crowding our downtowns. And now, as I write this I see a news release that the premier is considering a regional re-opening, which I'm extremely conflicted about...
