The powers accorded to law enforcement is like crack cocaine to a psychopath. Perhaps, psychopathy screenings should be done based on each cop's actual record on some annual or semi-annual basis.

So good. I am so grateful for the work y'all do and my ability to support it. I think I'm going to pay my neighbor to watch this... He doesn't like "the news" but he is essentially good hearted when actually confronted with reality, so if I *bribe* him to watch it... Maybe. We are all going to a Tucson (pre-curfew) rally this afternoon anyway, so maybe we'll get gassed and he'll be radicalized before the vid is public on yt... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I don't actually know what to expect from Tucson. Our BLM chapter is actively condemning most attempts to organize, except "peacefully before curfew", I am so mad at myself for not being more aware sooner of how weird everything is here. Tucson City Council passed a shitty ordinance in April (#11746) that gives tpd the power to define anywhere as a crime scene (no need for tape just "express communication") and define people filming as "interferers", made it a class 2 misdemeanor. AZ has some of the highest rates of covid right now, and it is in our jails and prisons, and courts are all frozen because they can't figure out how to socially distance juries. Everyone waiting in jail for a jury trial right now is in a covid petri dish indefinitely...

Fun fact: I was looking at Twitter for protests in my town and one post gave the tip that undercover cops are wearing blue wristbands, and post immediately beneath that was a photo of a kneeling police officer holding the hand of a protester... who happened to have a blue wristband.

That attack dog video is from a town right next to my home town! I have black relatives that live in Graton! That is the same sheriffs deparment that got away with killing my classmate for being black and the same department that shot Andy Lopez! Andy was 13 and was shot in the back! Please keep posting about that particular sherriffs department! They are killing my neighbours and even our new (and supposedly improved) sherriff we voted in is breaking quarantine orders and is silent on his deparment's violent past and present! The cop who shot Andy retired, but his partner that was there when he murdered a child is still patroling the same streets where Andy's parents live!

This has been gut-wrenchingly painful to watch, but I feel that it best captures the unrest of last few weeks with honest analysis. I still appreciate the humorous interjections, but for this topic nothing seems to mask the pain of this truth effectively if you are at all capable of empathy. I have been following and watching this channel for a long time, I am proud to finally contribute to fund this and other works for justice.
