My wife's dog training company uses coconut oil to get nervous dogs to eat their food when they are boarding. You should call and ask your vet before trying anything though.

Yeah, being a pessimist really is a win-win scenario. If you're right, stuff may suck but at least you get to feel smart. If you're wrong, then it's a wonderful surprise! Which is a way bigger high than when optimism actually pays off. That's based on a very real scientific study that I just made up.

Wash his bowl out; maybe he smells the old food and thinks he can Gandi you into giving it to him. We used to mix foods half and half, then 3/4 & 1/4, then all the new food for our dogs. It's the boiling frog of food changes.

Add a splash of water to the food and put it in the microwave just long enough for it to start heating up. It will produce a stronger smell. It is how I got my diabetic dog to eat so he could take the insulin shot every day at the same time.

The "what about if Biden wins" question - for me I'm voting for Biden not because I expect him to automatically fix things but because it seems like once we get the obvious roadblock out of the way, we can roll up our sleeves and start the real work of undoing all the damage and trying to actually fix things. I am hopeful your show will continue to dig into those things and educate us about things we need to hold Dems accountable for thier promises.
