Hi. In today's episode, Parker Molloy joins us to discuss the terrible anti-trans bills passing through state legislatures, Biden's maybe, kinda-good infrastructure bill and the hilarious new Jordan Peterson story. Also, visit https://tinywerewolves.com!

Another great conversation, thanks!

My dad always taught me growing up "as long as it doesn't come between me a my chili dog." it translated into, mind your own business, and I'll do the same. The anti gay, anti trans thing baffles me. I live in a very conservative, trumpy part of Pennsylvania, and no one here in my small town gives one shit about that. It's just really depressing to see us as a country still focused on shit like this. It shouldn't even be up for debate. Literally, it's more work to deny people rights than to just do nothing. God damnit, just let people be, and fix the fucking roads.

Honest question...does starting hormones before puberty make transitioning "easier" to achieve than if you start after puberty?

Joshua Cardoza

Honestly cannot support this show if it is going to prop up trans ideology without question. The high courts of Britain rightfully recognize these experimental treatments as harm towards children because conversion therapy is NOT proven treatment for their gender dysphoria which is what causes people to want to transition. No one is talking about the harm preventing puberty from occurring normally does to children, or how men have biologically superior anatomy in which no amount of corrective surgery or puberty blockers could change because they are inert at birth. These things irreparably harm children in the way of early onset osteoporosis for a single example, and prevent young girls to compete in an environment equal amongst their own sex because there are clear and obvious differences in the performance between male and female athletes, including the ones transitioning. This allows a boy to identify without any prior qualifications as a girl, win races, and take accolades and scholarships that would have otherwise gone to a biological girl. There are numerous reasons why biological women need their own spaces and Republicans just happen to be touching on this issue vaguely despite normally being abhorrent, and as a Marxist I would be happy to continue explaining why women are the first oppressed class of people and the many instances in which queer theory ignores their material reality. I am an exercise science major who has taken multiple classes in physiology and human anatomy and know the detrimental affects of preventing puberty in children and the biological differences between sexes right down to a man’s heart being 20% larger being incredibly significant. I don’t need to be a doctor to know that either. None of these people have any right to talk about gatekeeping feminism because they ignore the experiences of women who are harmed by this legislature. No one here talked about protecting women in rape shelters, in prisons, and other important instances where predatory men could easily taken advantage and there is proof it already occurs in places like Vancouver. There are plenty of women who are far more educated and radical than me who could talk about these issues better than me though and would happy to share them.
