Living symbiotically and sustainably with the world we live in just sounds so ... demoralizing. Wait, I meant great. That sounds great.

Jeff Bezos: “stasis bad!” No, you fucking shill for a human, that is the exact way we would have avoided climate change in the first place, you benighted piece of shit with too much money. Too bad money can’t buy you awareness – or a new heart capable of empathy for that matter.

Maury LeBlanc

We have to stop saying Bezos is richest ... he is richest out in the open. MBS and Putin each dwarf Bezos.

Maybe the next rocket will get him Cody.

The superyacht/support yacht business, which is already an apt example of Bezos' massively selfish and wasteful decisions, serves as another demonstration of his solution for pollution being to put it somewhere else rather than curb it. According to Bloomberg (https://www.bloomberg.com/news/features/2021-05-07/jeff-bezos-s-new-superyacht-heralds-roaring-market-for-big-boats), "One thing [the superyacht] won’t have, because of its enormous sails, is a helipad. So Bezos and his partner, Lauren Sanchez, a helicopter pilot, have commissioned a support yacht, people familiar with their plans said." That means he built a ship with sails, which are cleaner, more sustainable, and quieter than diesel engines (all good things for him and everyone around him) and then decided that he just couldn't live without the helicopter that he now couldn't have on the ship, so he put it (and its pollution) somewhere else: another ship. He wanted to have his cake and eat it, too, and he's rich enough to make it happen, ultimately, at the expense of the whole world.

I've actually found myself watching the version with the ad in it lately, just for the jokes Cody jams in there. Last week's ad about the earbuds had a line in it like "whether you're at home doing the dishes or at the beach, doing the dishes" that still makes me laff :)

I love your Bezos impression. Great, great episode and show - keep up the great work!

I don't take pleasure in the death of another human being, but part of me really wished Bezos didn't come back

CEO, Entrepreneur Born in 1964 Jeffrey, Jeffrey Bezoooooos

Joshua Cubbin

Holy shit. Cody's Bezos epiphany impression fucking killed me.

Great episode. If you haven’t seen it, here’s a very funny article where Jeff talks about his recent revelation on heavy industry in space. It was written in 2016, but that’s not weird. My favorite part is his suggestion that when energy consumption becomes a problem in “a few hundred years”, a possible solution is “radical population control”. So I think you’re being too hard on him, he’s a smart guy with cool ideas. https://www.washingtonpost.com/business/economy/jeff-bezos-pulls-back-the-curtain-on-his-plans-for-space/2016/03/09/a0716c7e-e5f4-11e5-a6f3-21ccdbc5f74e_story.html

Loved the episode and the impression and the ad. One suggestion: I get the "book store but online" approach but I think it might be useful to point out the way he ruthlessly exploits everyone at his company. He pioneered new ways to abuse people up and down the corporate chain and it could be useful to point that out in connection with his lack of innovation. I have way more positive than negative but you don't have time so love you all very much!

Erin Murphy

I’m pretty confident I’m in a minority but I MISS WARMBO! I appreciate how dark yet extremely positive he is. Him doing the ads was perfect. I know many bitched but they don’t understand puppet genius! Love you guys no matter what!

Kevin Hengehold

who gave him that fucking hat? I feel like no one's asking the tough questions here.
