Excited for this new wave of content, especially having the Some More News episodes in podcast form since I drive allot and it's not a good idea to have a video playing while driving haha.

Sally Ferguson

Good job skewering now this news’s designed-to-be viral format.

James Dominguez

Can somebody please explain the point of this to me? Like, is it calling out a teenage girl for not being effective enough at stopping climate change? Making fun of people who look up to her? I'm not getting this at all.

Excrubulent

Hey guys, the "SOME THIS" concept is just brilliant, but I really think you need something where the target of the satire is much clearer. This could easily be read as mean-spirited towards Greta, and I don't think that's what you were intending.

Gary Dunion

I love you all very much but I'm afraid this is a rare miss. If it was meant to say anything other than "Greta Thunberg is a hypocritical wannabe celebrity who makes ineffective speeches in return for world travel and the spotlight," it didn't. And if it *was* meant to say that, that's an extremely bad take.

Jeff Prillaman

The very end is key here: "What can't this triple threat do? Except change global leader's minds about doing more about climate change LOL?" Greta is lumped in with 2 greedy, narcissistic dipshits, which is how FOX and other major outfits try to "devalue" what Greta is saying. Editing is too quick, I think.

I like the format, and the spoof, but I agree with the general, maybe there should be no spoofs against comrades/allies. I do enjoy some Now/This clips, some of the non-political ones are pretty informative and interesting. I think I would enjoy any number of Some/This spoofs on similar non-political topics, or political things about the opposition, or boars.

Dustin Hancock

I agree with many here. I understand what you were trying to do with this segment, but I am a little disappointed with the delivery. When I heard you guys talk about this segment on the livestream, I assumed it might be punchy, over simplified stories about true current stories. This is a little more pure satire than I am used to with your content, and I personally feel that it diminishes the message. Also, I agree some things were too quick, especially the punchline.

I've watched it a few times now and I really don't care for this and I'm surprised. I love everything some more news does and has put put but this just felt bad. It felt like they were mocking Greta a lot, I know it wasn't but watching that was just uncomfortable for me

Angry optimist

Wow, I am apparently in the minority here. I completely missed that it could read negatively towards Greta. I see it now though, I guess it just goes to show that everyone takes in media a little differently.
