As a person of color, that was a hard listen...

Unrelated to this video, I want to thank you guys for my young son now playing "wet tickle man" where he gets his hands really wet and then tries to tickle me... So, thanks for the laughs, bonding, and making my family just a bit more weird =) edit: also, please give him (wet tickle man, not my son) a backstory, even it's its a throwaway

I just don’t buy this shit about the sweet old lady Trump supporter. Just how “sweet” is she to a Mexican speaking Spanish who she comes across? It’s like when people call all-white conservative areas “friendly”. Yeah, to other white people, sure…

Gotta say, love hearing 4 people who don't have children talking about the effects of school closures on parents lol.

Way too Wormbo.

Gotta agree with the majority of other commenters, this was weird one. I'm not asking you to get into screaming arguments with your guests, but I do wish you would have pushed back a bit more. Felt like a lot of centrist "both sides" arguments were allowed to just stand. It felt like you two giving a lot of ground to someone who wasn't coming in with a willingness to meet you anywhere other than at their own position. Which I guess is actually sort of emblematic of a more general problem with how it usually goes when the left is told to find compromise with the centrists.

Strange hearing someone on a 'news' based podcast who can't/won't read the news herself. Edit: the irony of complaining about no access to free covid tests versus taking a $70 covid test to party for NYE. THAT'S WHY WE DON'T HAVE ANY - CAPITALISM. Why would the government send them out for free when there's bank to be made by companies and resellers?

All I’m saying is I hope there was a lot more pushback and educating once the recording stopped. I get not wanting to do it in the moment— I really do— but that was really hard to listen to as a gay Latino who grew up in an area in GA where neo-Nazis marched a decade later. “There wasn’t this kind of racism growing up in Texas when I was a kid,” is just insulting and unconscionable to PoC. It’s especially insulting considering she said she doesn’t actively listen to the news, let alone experiences from minorities that break those rose-tinted glasses. Sigh. Still love you guys.
