Hi. The Supreme Court – which has never been an apolitical entity – has been coming out with some really frightening rulings lately and is likely to keep it up. That's because fringe right-wing groups have infiltrated the Supreme Court and are now circumventing democracy to make laws.

We share the same last name, even. I don't know anything about him, but I assume he was a power mad fuckbucket. I love Katie and her contributions to the narrative. All the same, I would find it difficult to reconcile her established character against the gravity of the content I've consumed so far, in contrast to the delivery I've come to enjoy from Cody. That said, I'm a western, white male that frequently agrees with the subject matter, regardless of whom has delivered it. So, if this episode is engineered to be a segue for Cody's future prospects, I'll accept it--perhaps begrudgingly, and perhaps with sadness. In my experience, such occasions are never as long as I wish them to be. Change is inevitable. Long live Cody, and long live Some More News, even if they live separately.

I’m deeply concerned that my access to healthcare and dignity while accessing care is about to be on the chopping block. With the fear and misinformation being spread about trans people I live in a state of constant minority stress. I love that Some More News, It Could Happen Here, and Behind the Bastards does such a good job of including trans people in your analysis. It always helps me fight the internalization of the transphobia that surrounds me, my family, and my community.

I guess it's tiresome to realize that anti-democratic power/money whores have been festering alongside the googly-eyed idealists in the "democracy" camp for literally our entire history.
